In a leaked excerpt from his forthcoming memoir, Spare, The Guardian reports that Prince Harry accuses his brother, Prince William, assaulted him physically.

A 2019 incident at Harry’s London residence is being investigated. Harry states in the article that his elder brother William was “piping hot” when he arrived at Nottingham Cottage, Harry’s house on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

According to Harry, William has previously described Meghan Markle as “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive,” to which Harry has responded that William is “parrot[ing] of] the news narrative” about his wife.

According to The Guardian, Harry then insulted his brother for behaving like an heir, and William said he was attempting to be of assistance.

Are you kidding me? According to the article, Harry replied in response. A plea for assistance: What, exactly, do you call this? Do you mind assisting me? while you’re in such a mood.” This led to a violent altercation between the two parties involved in the disagreement.

He poured out the water, rechristened me, and charged at me. Everything moved so quickly. According to The Guardian, Harry writes, “so very quickly,” in his book Spare.

He snatched me up by the collar, tore my neck band, and threw me to the floor. When I fell, my back burst open on the dog’s dish, and the sharp shards dug into my flesh. For a few seconds, I lay there in a trance, climbed to my feet and urged him to go.

Harry explains that, much like he did when he was a kid, William encouraged him to fight. After William’s refusal, he says, “he went, looking sorry,” but then “returned looking regretful” a little later.

According to The Guardian, he “apologized” after that. Harry alleges that as William was leaving, he “turned and yelled back: ‘You don’t need to tell Meg about this,'” to which Harry allegedly responded, “You mean that you assaulted me?”

William reportedly said, “I didn’t assault you, Harold.” Harry claims he then sought assistance from his therapist after that.

Only until Meghan saw “scrapes and bruises” on his back did he tell her about what happened, he adds.

For Harry, “(she) wasn’t that astonished, and wasn’t all that furious,” reports The Guardian. She was in a very miserable mood. On January 10, Harry’s autobiography will be released.

This information had leaked just before it was set to air on two planned TV interviews with ITV News presenter Tom Bradby and CNN anchor Anderson Cooper.

A fresh sneak peek from Harry’s conversation with Bradby surfaced on Wednesday, casting doubt on whether or not he will attend King Charles’s Coronation on May 6.

If you are invited to the crowning ceremony, will you attend? In the interview airing on Sunday, Bradby poses the question to the duke.

The 38-year-old actor adds, “There’s a lot that can happen between now and then,” in the ITV News broadcast that aired on Thursday morning.

Still, I have no problem leaving my door open at any time. Now, Harry says, “the buck stops with them.” I hope they will sit down and speak about everything that needs to be addressed.

Both in the documentary “Harry & Meghan” on Netflix and the biography, Bradby questions if the duke has violated his family’s privacy.

Before this, in March 2021, Harry and Meghan Markle famously sat down with Oprah Winfrey and discussed their experiences as members of the royal family.

In the new video, Bradby warns that despite his lifelong stance against intrusions into personal space, he may be guilty of doing just that with his family members.

Someone who doesn’t get it or doesn’t want to accept that my family has been briefing the press would say that,” Harry says.

If Bradby is correct, Prince William is probably wondering, “how could you do this to me after everything?”

Subsequently, the duke responds, “He would probably say various things.”

In a different sneak peek published on Monday, Harry says to Bradby, “It never needed to be this way.”

He then tells Bradby, “I want a family, not an institution,” and criticizes “the leaking and the planting” of articles in the British press.

It is unclear who Harry is talking to when he says, “they feel as if it is preferable to maintain us somehow as the villains” and “they have shown absolutely no inclination to reconcile.” He continues, “I’d want to have my dad back.” I miss my brother and would want to have him back.
