A man and his wife book a hotel room.
The woman, who is quite exhausted, decides to go up to their room to rest while the husband wants to go have a drink at the bar.

When an elevated train suddenly passes by quite close to the window and shakes the room violently, she is flung out of the bed while she is lying on the bed.

She lies down again, assuming this must be a fluke occurrence.

She is again thrown to the floor by a train shaking the room so violently.

She phones the front desk in frustration and requests the manager.

The manager promises to arrive shortly.

The manager is dubious, but the wife is adamant that the tale is accurate, saying, “Look, lie here on the bed and you’ll be thrown right to the floor!”She informs him.

He then reclines next to his wife.

The hubby enters just then.

He asks, “What are you doing here?!”

Would you think I’m waiting for a train, the manager says coolly?
