A pickup truck driven by a couple of blonde men was seen pulling into a lumberyard. As soon as he went into the office, one of the blonde males greeted the receptionist and stated, “We need some four-by-twos.”
“You mean two-by-fours, don’t you?” the clerk asked. The man said, “I’ll go check,” and then returned to the truck after making his announcement. After waiting a minute, he came back and replied, “Yeah, I meant to say two-by-fours.”
“Okay, that’s good. How much longer will you require them?” The patron took a little pause before saying, “I suppose I should go check.”
After some time had passed, the client came back to the office and remarked, “A very long time. We are going to construct a home.”
