If you are familiar with the name Susan Boyle, you are likely familiar with her many accomplishments. Her name became more well-known after she had a performance on the 2009 season of Britain’s Got Talent in which she sang the well-known song “I Dreamed a Dream” from the Broadway musical Les Misérables.

Susan’s voice reverberated through the room, and the judges were taken aback by the level of expertise displayed by the performers they were seeing.
Soon after, Susan Boyle’s name began to be recognized everywhere. The audience soon started cheering for her to be successful. Her performances of “I Dreamed a Dream” in the Vancouver version of Les Misérables caused a boom in ticket sales for the show. Even though she finished in second place in that season of the show, her skill was already well known throughout the industry.
Susan is not your run-of-the-mill singer; her vocal abilities are quite remarkable. She is capable of singing songs with sufficient grace and infusion of her own perspective in the rendering of the song. She even gave a performance at the Diamond Jubilee Pageant that the Queen hosted in Windsor Castle.
Her albums I Dreamed a Dream and The Gift became very popular, and as a result, she became only the third artist in history to achieve rising album sales in both the UK and the US in the same calendar year.
