The White House Rose Garden is almost unrecognizable now
In the processes of renovations on the territory of the White House during Trump second presidency, the Rose Garden, which is regarded by many as a holy ground, appears to be hardly recognizable.

They started making the changes on June 9, and at that time, the president said, You know we use it [the Rose Garden] for press conferences and it does not work, people fall.”

He aded: the ground may be wet and may give some difficulty in the soft ground. Women just did not work, as it needed the high heels.”

Recent photos of the area posted online indicate that the grass center square of the Rose Garden is entirely not present any more.
In their place, now there are layers of gravel and a pile of construction machinery around.

The less that remains of this greenness, are the old hedges on the borders.
An official in the White House spoke of the work being underway calling the whole process a renovation but referred to it as a restoration to make it more functional and respectful of the tradition.

But that is not what some people think about the project. Rather, they simply went to the social media to criticize Trump and Melania.
It would be like taking away a part of the history of our white house by getting the Rose Garden of Kennedy. One person posted on X, and for a patio,

Rose Garden at the White House destroying. Quite mad indeed, wrote another user.
This is not the very first time when such outrage emerges. In 2020 (Melania) during the first presidency of Trump, she changed the Rose Garden.

She had to come out of her silence and justify her choice.
Her public statement read: The Rose Garden is blessed with a healthy & a colorful blooming of roses. It continued: “sixty years of use and modification needed to accommodate the modern presidency have

been detrimental to the garden and prevented a clearer understanding of the gracious balance of the Mellon plan.”
Melania is one of the changes that had been criticized by a New York Times columnist Charles M. Blow terming her inspiration as grim.
Other changes in the White House will also be achieved according to the Associated Press. Not only were the plans being made of a new ballroom, but two huge flagpoles (one in each lawn, the North and South).

Trump boasted that he had footed the bill of the works.
In April he told reporters, they have needed the flagpoles in 200 years.
Trump was seen on June 18 right in front of the Rose Garden, overseeing the construction and chatting with the construction workers.
