Melania Trump Threatens to Sue Hunter Biden for $1 Billion over ‘Defamatory’ Claims

Following damaging allegations made about her, the first lady’s attorneys say their team is dedicated to obtaining apologies and corrections.

Melania Trump, the first lady, intends to sue Hunter Biden for over $1 billion, alleging that he disseminated false and damaging information claiming that Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump.

In a letter to a lawyer for Hunter, the first lady’s legal team referred to his statement as “false, disparaging, defamatory and inflammatory.” The letter threatens legal action unless a public apology and retraction are made. Additionally, the accusation is said to have caused her “overwhelming financial and reputational harm.”

The claim was made by Hunter, the son of former President Joe Biden, in a comprehensive interview with filmmaker Andrew Callaghan earlier this month. He implied that Donald might be implicated by unpublished materials related to Jeffrey.

Additionally, Hunter asserted that Jeffrey introduced Melania to Donald and implied that they had many ties. Hunter’s claim was partially connected to journalist Michael Wolff, who wrote a negative biography of Donald Trump, according to the first lady’s attorneys.

Although he has stated that they broke up in the early 2000s due to a disagreement about staff at his golf club spa in Florida, Donald and Jeffrey were once pals. Jeffrey’s involvement in Melania’s encounter with her future husband is not supported by any evidence. In 2019, Jeffrey committed suicide while incarcerated pending trial.

Hunter was also charged in the legal letter of regularly using other people’s names and making the same accusations in order to draw attention to himself. In particular, it referenced a since-removed Daily Beast article that suggested ties between Donald, Jeffrey, and Melania.

The outlet apparently removed the piece after receiving a letter from Melania’s lawyers contesting its content, expressing regret for “any confusion or misunderstanding.”

Alejandro Brito, the first lady’s attorney, cited a statement from her assistant, Nick Clemens, in response to a question regarding the possible lawsuit.

Her lawyers are actively seeking prompt retractions and apologies from anyone disseminating hurtful and inaccurate statements, the statement stressed.

Hunter went back to the same interview platform where he made the statements in spite of this legal warning, and he was asked whether he wanted to apologize in order to avoid the lawsuit. “[expletive] that,” he said. That will not take place.

In contrast to Hunter’s assertions, Melania and Donald Trump have previously discussed their meeting, and Jeffrey Epstein is not mentioned in any of their reports.

The first lady and Donald met during a Fashion Week party in November 1998, which was organized by Italian businessman Paolo Zampolli, who founded the management company ID Models. Later, Paolo worked with Trump on a number of real estate ventures and was well-known for promoting upscale properties with runway models.

Donald, a father of four, was twenty-four years older than Melania at the time, who was twenty-eight. He had already divorced Ivana Trump in 1990 and was recently divorced from his second wife, Marla Maples.

She refused to give Donald her phone number when he asked for it at their first meeting because he was with a date. But instead, Melania requested his phone number. “I wanted to find out what kind of number he would offer me. What is this, if it’s a business number? She revealed, “I’m not doing business with you.”

Fortunately, Donald invited her to call and gave her several numbers, including his New York home, Mar-a-Lago, and office. Shortly after, Melania left for a photo shoot in the Caribbean, but she called a few days later. “His energy really got to me. She exclaimed, “He has a remarkable sense of vitality.”

She was deeply impacted by Donald’s decision to take her to dinner and then to Moomba, a well-known celebrity hangout in New York in the late 1990s, on their first official date. “Wasn’t it a wonderful location? “That night seems like it was two months ago,” she remarked.

The two are still at a standstill, and it’s a waiting game to see who will give in first. Hunter has refused to retract his remarks regarding how the first lady met her husband, and Melania Trump is ready to file a lawsuit.
