11 Celebrities Who Dissolved Their Fillers or Stopped Getting Them – 30 Before & After Photos
These previously beautiful celebrities are now undoing the precise operations that brought them fame, from full lips to frozen foreheads. However, beneath the glitz is a path of remorse, mockery, and candid admissions – and not all survived.
Fillers and Botox previously promised perfection in a youth-obsessed industry. The emotional toll of striving for the perfect face, however, is now being exposed by these superstars.

- Ariana Grande
In Vogue’s “Beauty Secrets” video, 2023 star Ariana Grande was vulnerable and bare-faced. Rather than offering beauty advice, she shared a moment of very honest truth.

Over the years, I’ve had a lot of lip fillers. “And Botox,” she disclosed while applying gloss to her lips. “I stopped in 2018 ’cause I just felt so — too much.” She fell silent. “I just felt like hiding, you know?”

The former child star turned megastar showed her admirers the toll that fame had taken by removing the mask in addition to applying makeup.
- Chyna Blac
The stunning influencer Blac Chyna, who based her brand on high-octane beauty, startled her fans in March 2023 when she recorded herself going to dissolve her cheek, jaw, and lip fillers.

“Enough is enough. Everything must be revealed. “It’s as easy as that,” she said in her car, composed but determined.

Her response to the question of why she was reversing everything was ruthlessly straightforward: “I’m sick of the look… It’s simply unflattering. I simply don’t look like that.” “It completely changed my face,” she continued. I’m prepared to return to Angela.

“I removed all my face fillers, I’m so happy 🙌🏽🙏🏽❤️,” she captioned the photo.
- Willis Tallulah
In a 2024 Instagram post, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter Tallulah Willis talked candidly about her emotional struggle with cosmetic enhancement.

“Hey! I recently had my filler dissolved, but I was afraid to say that,” she said. “I hadn’t seen my real bone structure in like 6 years.”

She disclosed the extent to which she had been drawn into the delusion. “Still learning to dial back the futzing and the pokes and sit with myself as I am,” stated the writer. Which is challenging when your mind says “yes! “More is better!”

- Simon Cowell
In 2022, Simon Cowell, the ruthlessly honest television judge who was notorious for criticizing others, finally looked within, and even he was surprised by what he discovered.

“There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far,” he admitted. “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all.”

How did his son respond? Laughter. Recalling, “[My son] was in hysterics,” That was the pivotal moment. “Enough was enough. My face is completely free of filler now. Zero.
His elderly visage, he continued, appeared “like something out of a horror film.”

- Cox, Courteney
The beloved “Friends” star Courteney Cox, who is known for her classic appearance, acknowledged that the struggle to stay young in Hollywood took her in a direction she never would have imagined and was unable to follow.

“I would say it’s a common thing you go through as you age, especially in Hollywood,” she said. “You have to accept getting older, and that’s something that I had a hard time doing.”

- Griffith, Melanie
Melanie Griffith didn’t realize she had changed until the public became unkind.

“Until people started saying it, I didn’t [realize].” She said, “Oh my god, what has she done?” Overwhelmed and injured, she looked for assistance elsewhere.

“I was so hurt I went to a different doctor and he started dissolving all of this [stuff] that this other woman doctor had put in,” she recalled. “Hopefully, I look more normal now.”
- Faris, Anna
When Anna Faris first started changing her appearance, she talked candidly about how it subtly escalated into something she would later regret.

Regarding her lip injections during the filming of “The House Bunny,” she revealed, “I did it for a little bit and I noticed a small difference, but no one else ever said anything.”
As she said, “I kept wondering if anybody else even noticed,” It was too late when her companions eventually raised their voices. The compliments never came, and her lips had gotten too big.

After she started to wean herself off the injections, she referred to the modifications as a “mistake” and “definitely not the right choice.”
- Hadid Yolanda
Yolanda Hadid, a model and former “Real Housewives” star, posted an astounding mirror selfie in lingerie in 2019. “Fifty Five and smiling from the inside out…. Finally back to the original 1964,” she penned.

Then the shocking news arrived. She opened up, “Living in a body free of breast implants, fillers, botox, [extensions], and all the [things] I thought I needed in order to keep up with what society conditioned me to believe what a sexy woman should look like until the toxicity of it all almost killed me.”

- Davis, Kristin
The ever-poised Charlotte from “Sex and the City,” Kristin Davis, acknowledged that not all cosmetic improvements resulted in self-confidence; some instead caused suffering and mockery.

“I have done fillers and it’s been good and I’ve done fillers and it’s been bad,” she stated. “I’ve been subjected to constant mockery and have had to dissolve them. And it has caused me to cry. It’s really stressful.
- Jenner Kylie
Kylie Jenner, who is well-known for creating an empire with her pillowy pout, became weary of the unrelenting criticism directed at her lips in 2023. “I went on a journey the last year, dissolving half my lip filler,” she acknowledged in June 2024.

She was obviously affected by the attention, though. “I hate even having this conversation over and over and over again because it feels like a waste of my breath because I think, with me, it’s just never gonna change,” she stated.

Her sister Kendall intervened to console her while she sobbed on television. She sobbed as she said, “Why do people think it’s okay to talk about me?” Her candid moment exposed the terrible weight of life under scrutiny.
- Amy Schumer
Then there is Amy Schumer, who never hesitates to make fun of her own face in order to make jokes out of it. “I tried getting fillers,” she wrote. As it happens, I was already full. Schumer’s Instagram post was typical of her: harsh, cruel, and incredibly human.

She continued, “Thank God you can dissolve them I looked like #malificent [sic].”
Later, her practitioner said that the filler had been transferred to a different location and then taken out when both parties decided it wasn’t working.

The comedy queen was not exempt from the beauty trap or its agonizing consequences.
