Erika Kirk Sparks Buzz with Her Pantsuit during Interview with Megyn Kelly

The internet was rocked by a shocking wardrobe twist during Saturday night’s interview, which sparked a heated discussion.

Megyn Kelly and Erika Kirk took the stage together in Glendale, Arizona, on November 22, 2025. However, it wasn’t the somber topics or emotional scenes that made people laugh. Her stunning attire took center stage and caused internet users to gasp.

An Audacious Appearance That Sparked the Internet

The two women shared the limelight in the crowded Desert Diamond Arena on the last night of “Megyn Kelly Live.” Kirk took a very different approach than the host, who is always the epitome of conventional elegance, who wore a clean white pantsuit with a sparkling lapel adornment.

She donned a suit, too, but Kirk’s was everything but conventional. She was wearing a slightly transparent, all-black dress.

The materials sent a distinct message, even if the silhouette was still that of a traditional jacket and pants.

Her arms were visible through the delicate lace used to create the sleeves of her jacket. In stark contrast to Kelly’s modest appearance, her pants, which were made of the same sheer material, showed off her legs underneath.

Her bracelets were piled high on each wrist, and while her earrings were modest, she had large, glittering rings on her fingers. Many viewers thought the combo was excessive.

Several viewers were incensed and left perplexed.

Some viewers responded with incredulity. Someone asked, “Is this a lace pantsuit?” “Is that a lace pantsuit?” said another, echoing the misunderstanding.

Others, however, were quick to identify it as such. One member said, “Btw [sic], Erika Kirk is wearing a full on see-through lace pant suit.”

The criticism followed.

“Her sense of’style’ really bothers me. Someone said, “I just 😖 between this and the leather pants.” With the comment, “Erika Kirk wearing a black lace bodysuit…,” another commenter couldn’t help but invoke southern drama. Scarlett O’hara [sic] is back.

The most incisive comment, however, was made by a spectator who criticized the evening’s emotion as well as its style. “It’s odd to wear see-through lace black outfits while ‘mourning’ your husband and never actually crying real tears,” they said.

Some shifted their attention to her accessories. “Aren’t those large golden rings excessive? One person remarked, “I try to empathize with her, but it is hard [sic].” “What is with the gaudy rings?” inquired another.

God, grief, and unwavering faith

Kirk, however, wasn’t merely there to make a point. She was there to share her true feelings.

She sat down with Kelly in front of a sea of vigilant eyes to talk about the turmoil and anguish she had experienced since her husband’s murder. Turning Point’s current CEO promised that his movement will not perish with him.

But Kelly didn’t back down from a challenge. She once asked Kirk if she was angry or resentful of God for the unfathomable grief she had experienced. Kirk, however, remained steadfast in her convictions, declaring, “The enemy would love for me to be angry. He would adore it.

She confronted the two women directly about the criticism Kirk has received since becoming a widow. She acknowledged that she didn’t require other people’s approval.

She and her husband were extremely protective of their kids because they had always had to cope with detractors and actual threats.

They did not, however, flee from life in the face of peril. According to Erika Kirk, her husband frequently gave inspirational speeches imbued with the gospel, and the two of them lived every day as though it were their last.

Explaining a Viral Event

As previously reported, Kirk also spent some time explaining to Kelly how she and US Vice President J.D. Vance had embraced a few weeks prior.

The embrace happened at a memorial service for her husband, who was killed on September 10 at Utah Valley University.

Kirk had witnessed a moving remembrance of the late Turning Point founder just prior to the widely shared embrace. The emotional conversation between her and Vance was caught on camera and quickly went viral on the internet.

Kirk claims that she frequently makes that particular motion with those that are close to her, which is to lightly place her hand on the back of Vance’s head.

Social media was lit up by the back-of-the-head touch.

“Anyone whom I have hugged, that I have touched the back of your head when I hug you, I always say, ‘God bless you,'” she continued.

Kirk maintained that her affectionate disposition, especially in emotionally intense situations, is understood by those who know her. “I would give you a free hug anytime you want a hug,” she stated.

She also provided a more thoughtful analysis of the criticism. She stated, “Whoever is hating on a hug needs a hug themselves,” implying that the public’s response might have been more related to general discomfort than the hug itself.

The 37-year-old informed the audience, “My love language is touch, if you will,” before taking them through an incident that, in her opinion, had been exaggerated.

“The touching video was just shown. [JD] is walking over, and so am I. “I’m beginning to cry,” she said. “I’m so proud of you,” he says. ‘God bless you,’ I reply, and I put my hand on the back of his head.”

Kirk Shares His Personal Anguish

In addition to the embrace, Kirk talked of her own sorrow and longing following her husband’s passing. She disclosed that at the time, she had hoped to become pregnant.

Her words, “We wanted to have four,” “And when he was killed, I was asking God to grant me a pregnancy.” “Oh goodness, that would be the greatest blessing out of this disaster,” I thought.

She and her husband had two children at the time of his death: a one-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter.

According to Kirk, the prospect of having a third child had seemed like a glimmer of hope in the face of unfathomable tragedy.
