Heading to her grandmother’s 80th birthday dinner, Camilla expects tensions and secrets to surface. For the first time in years, they come together, sparking old rivalries, revealing secrets, and a shocking turn of events that leaves them all stunned.

Scott, Camilla’s spouse, and she were traveling to her grandmother’s house for a family meal. The whole family was together for the first time in a long time.

“What made you so successful? We would have assisted if you had waited,” Camilla remarked.

“Mom hasn’t arrived yet?” Michael enquired.

Eleanor sadly said, “She said she wasn’t sure if she could make it.”

“Normal. It seems like she never has time for us,” Camilla said.

“It took a lot of work for me!” Michael yelled.

Camilla, though, didn’t hear him. She said, “You just got lucky Uncle decided to give the restaurants to you!”

“You’ve been my envy for a long time!” Michael bellowed.

“Envious? Of what? that your spouse is merely with you for financial gain and that you are all alone? Camilla let out a cry.

As if things were any better for you! Not even your spouse can land a good job! For what duration have you been attempting to conceive? Five? For ten years?” Michael bellowed.

“Leave for hell!” Camilla let out a cry.

“Enough!” Eleanor got up and shouted. “You’re behaving like kids!” On MY birthday, I brought you here for a wonderful supper. I was even considering my options regarding the inheritance.

“What inheritance?” one asks. Michael asked the same question as Camilla.

Michael stated, “Business isn’t going well, and Stacy threatens to leave if I don’t fix it.”

Camilla remarked, “That might be good for you.” “I refuse to back down. Scott and I are in dire need of the funds right now.

“And what plans do you have?” Michael enquired.

Camilla turned to leave and entered the house again, saying, “Prove I deserve the inheritance.”

Eleanor was found in her bedroom by Camilla. Camilla apologized for letting our quarrel spoil your celebration.

“You’re not to blame. Eleanor answered, “Your mother didn’t raise you to be friendly.”

Eleanor remarked, “You’re wrong if you think that sucking up to me will get you the inheritance.” “Let’s return to the table and finish our meal.”

When the three of them went back to the dining room, they noticed that Margaret, Camilla and Michael’s mother, had shown up. Scott and Stacy were still seated.

“My sweethearts! I’m overjoyed to see you! Margaret hugged Camilla after giving Michael a hug. She said, “You’ve gained some weight, Camilla,” which caused Camilla to squint. Everybody took a seat.

Michael answered, “We live far away; it’s hard to get here.”

Camilla remarked, “We live far away too, but we visit at least once a month.

“I gave her a call every day!” Camilla let out a cry.

Margaret remarked, “I believe that as the oldest, I should receive the inheritance.”

“No!” Michael and Camilla let out a joint yell.

“Grandma, are you all right?” Camilla enquired.

Yes, just a little bit. Eleanor passed out before finishing her sentence. Camilla ran to embrace her.

“Grandmother! Mama! Make an ambulance call! After yelling, Camilla clutched her stomach and let out a cry.

“What’s off?” Scott questioned tremblingly.

Camilla stated, “It’s starting.”

“You’re expecting a baby?” Startled, Michael enquired.

After Scott dialed for help, an ambulance arrived to take Eleanor and Camilla to the hospital. The others got together and they took Michael’s automobile to the hospital.

“Let’s grab my car,” Michael remarked.

“Okay,” Scott answered.

“Maybe you shouldn’t go, Michael. Hospitals, you know I detest them,” Stacy remarked.

Margaret, Scott, and Michael followed the ambulance in their cars.

In the birthing room, Camilla was on the verge of giving birth, but she held back until she learned about Eleanor.

Scott sat next to her and gripped her hand. “Please, just relax. The infant comes first right now.

“Waiting is not an option. The doctor stated, “We have to deliver.

She gave birth to a healthy baby girl after the physicians helped her to calm down. When Margaret and Michael came in, she was holding the infant.

“It’s unbelievable that I’m an uncle,” Michael remarked. “I apologize for everything I said during supper.”

Margaret appeared distressed. She questioned Camilla, “Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant?”

According to Camilla, “I didn’t want you to be in her life and then disappear like you did with me and Michael.”

“You’re accurate. I was a bad mother. However, I might be a decent grandmother,” Margaret remarked.

“Let’s go slowly,” Camilla answered. “Are you aware of Grandma’s current situation?”

“Camilla?,” Margaret paused. “You should relax instead of worrying.”
