Nurse Cares for Wealthy Blind Man for a Decade, Uncovers Shocking Truth: She’s His Daughter – A Heartwarming Tale
Nurse Takes Care of Rich Blind Man for 10 Years, One Day Learns She Is His Daughter – Story of the Day
A wealthy elderly man disclosed on his deathbed that his ten-year nurse was in fact his biological daughter. His other children were surprised by the abrupt confession and felt bad about how they had treated the woman all those years.

When Alice was seventeen years old, she came out of the foster system and began working for Martin. Her foster mother, a close friend of the wealthy blind man, had proposed the employment to her at the time.
While Alice was preparing Martin’s favorite peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast one day, they got to talking about how they had first met.
“Tell me, Alice, how long has it been since you started working here?” Martin abruptly asked Alice.
“Hmmm, I think it’s been ten years, sir!” As she spread the peanut butter and jelly mixture over a slice of bread, Alice answered. “I have vivid memories of that era. I thought no one would hire me, therefore I was scared to get out of the foster system. Mrs. Chester then said, “You needed a nurse, and here I am.”

Martin gave a nod. “All right. Ten years have passed. “It seems like time is flying by,” he remarked, grabbing the sandwich Alice had made for him. Adam, Martin’s son, came into the kitchen at that very time.
“Why do you only ever prepare breakfast for your father? He mocked Alice, saying, “You’re a slave, you should be serving everyone at home.” The term “slave” made Alice’s stomach turn, and she nearly burst into tears.
“Adam!” Adam and Alice both jumped with surprise when Martin yelled at them out of nowhere. “You call Alice a slave! How dare you! You can forget you’re my son if you insult her again! Before you aggravate me further, leave this place,” he yelled.
Adam walked out of the kitchen slowly, shaking his head. He murmured, “I don’t understand why you favor her over your own son,” and walked away.
Alice received an apology from Martin, who also invited her to breakfast. She complied and sat silently. She was still in shock that Adam had referred to her as a slave.

Alice was told by Martin, “I can tell that you’re sad.” “I apologize for the way my kids behave toward you. I’m not sure what my spouse and I did to cause them to develop in that manner.”
“Don’t worry, sir. In any case, I’m here for you, not for them. I’m extremely fortunate to work for you. The only thing that counts is that you are so kind to me. “I consider you to be the only father figure I’ve ever known,” Alice said.
Martin looked shocked when he heard this. But he gradually got better and made an effort to grin again. “I take it that your birthday is approaching?” he inquired.
“Yes, in that case, sir. “In three days is my birthday,” Alice answered.

“We will celebrate.”
It was Alice’s 30th birthday three days later. Martin was in the kitchen already, grinning, as she went to make breakfast. His daughters Lucy and Eva were next to him, along with his sons Adam and James.
When Alice looked at the wall clock, she saw that it was six in the morning. Since Martin and his kids normally woke up at eight, she began to worry that she would not have time to make breakfast.
“Alice, are you here?” Asked Martin.

“Yes, sir,” Alice murmured in confusion. “I apologize; I was unaware that you would be rising early today. “I’ll soon prepare breakfast,” she hurriedly stated, pulling ingredients from the fridge.
“Alice, hurry up. We’re famished,” Lucy made fun of.
“breakfast can wait,” cut Martin off abruptly. “Alice, I’ve got a present for you outdoors. He wished me a happy 30th birthday. He got to his feet cautiously, taking in his surroundings.
James questioned, “A gift outside?”
“You’ve never given me a gift that needed us to go outdoors,” Eva continued.
Martin was led out the door by Alice, with his four kids trailing closely behind. A tiny automobile with a ribbon on top was waiting for them when they got out.

“Amazing! Are you really real?” Adam sneered.
“That is unfair! “Why are you buying a car for your maid?” Lucy remarked, then bounded off.
Alice has spent ten years by my side. Martin informed his kids, “She is family to me, and nothing you can say will ever change that.”
Martin threw Alice a small celebration that day. Other caregivers for his expansive estate, including his chauffeur, housekeeper, and gardener, joined them.
“I’m grateful, sir. I’m not sure what I did to merit your generosity, but I swear to perform a good job for as long as you require me to,” Alice said.
Over time, Alice began to view Martin more as a parent she liked to hang out with than as her employer. Martin also gave Alice the same treatment as his own daughter.

When Martin reached the age of 80, his health began to decline. He once begged to see Alice and all of his children since he thought his time was running out.
“I’m sure everyone has been curious about the beneficiary of my estate. Lucy, Eva, Adam, and James, you already own the company that I founded. You can keep using it. I offer Alice everything, including this house, everything in it, and my money.”
“What? What was it that this witch told you? Why do you give her your inheritance? Lucy objected.
“My attorney will get back to you! From ALL of our attorneys,” Adam stated.
That’s exactly why I chose to leave everything to Alice—I knew you were merely interested in my money. All these years, Alice was the only one who looked after me. Furthermore, there’s something I haven’t disclosed to you.” stated Martin.
Martin was cut off from speaking when his four children left in protest. When they left him with Alice on his own, he resumed speaking.
I apologize for taking so long to inform you, but the reason I waited to tell you is because I did not want anything to alter. You’re my biological daughter, Alice. When your mother realized I couldn’t marry her, she left me. I was forced to get remarried. You were placed in the orphanage after her death, and my friend took on the role of foster mother for you. Martin cried as he said, “She didn’t tell me you were my daughter until you were 17 years old.

“I apologize to Alice. In the years that we were acquainted, I hope that I was able to treat you kindly. He said to her, “I love you.”
Alice gave Martin a heartfelt hug. Shouting, “I love you,” she said. “What you stated today supports my long-held belief that you are my father. Dad, I am extremely appreciative of the time we spent together.”
What lessons may we draw from this tale?
Treat those who assist you kindly. Everyone is deserving of respect. Alice was not respected by Martin’s children since they saw her as a housemaid rather than as someone on par with them. Martin had to constantly remind them to show respect for Alice because she had put in a lot of effort to support their family throughout the years.
There’s always time to put things right. Alice was seventeen when Martin discovered that she was his daughter, yet he made it his life’s work to try and mend his differences with her.
Talk about this tale with your companions. It could motivate them and make their day better.
