He Cheated While I Was Away: The Ultimate Revenge That Left My Husband in Tears
My Husband Got Another Woman Pregnant While I Was on a Business Trip — My Revenge Made Him Sob
Sutton never thinks that she will find out that her husband is having an affair and getting pregnant when she is away on business. However, as the months pass and Jacob moves out, Sutton plots her retaliation.

My life as I knew it drastically changed a year ago. While on a business trip, I attempted to negotiate a contract that would cover our son’s medical expenses.
Danny, my three-year-old, had been sick at the time and was in and out of the hospital; every hour I spent apart from him seemed excruciating. I mean, it was your child that needed you.
However, I had no idea that the true torment was taking place at home.
My eight-year spouse, Jacob, had cheated on me with his coworker, Jessie. Initially, neither of them spoke, especially since Jessie would frequently visit and work with Jacob at the dinner table until the wee hours of the morning.
Jacob remarked, “Sutton, I can’t help it.” “Work is work.”
However, I learned the worst conceivable thing after that. At the grocery store, I ran into Jessie. She waved her pregnancy at me and called out.
“Congratulations, Jess!” I pointed at her stomach and said.

“Many thanks! She said, “Jacob got me pregnant,” with a disconcerting composure.
The bottle of gherkins that slid through my hands broke as much as my heart did.
Jacob made no attempt to refute it. He started packing right away.
“I have no regrets,” he declared. “I am tired of this little burden of a child and I am tired of you. He is ill all the time!”
He then left our lives behind. I saw him slam the door the last time I saw him.
I told myself, “Good riddance,” but I couldn’t contain my emotions.
In my entire life, I had never felt more taken aback.
I was caught in a fog of sadness and rage for months. I was unable to make any sense of this. I was baffled as to what I had done so incorrectly that Jacob was turning to another woman for comfort.
How could he subject Danny and myself to this?
However, I later discovered something that Jacob had forgotten. His grandfather had given him the keychain, which he generally carried with him. It was nothing special, but I knew it meant the world to him.
That’s when I started thinking of my strategy.

I endured months of patience.
“Oh, Jacob,” I sat on my bed thinking to myself. “You have no idea what’s coming your way.”
In order to ensure that the wound would be as deep as possible, I intended to strike when he least expected it. I needed him to experience some agony, any anguish at all, even if it was only a small portion of my own.
When the moment arrived, I gave Jacob a call and invited him to pick up his priceless keychain.
“Jacob, I found something of yours,” I remarked in a firm voice.
“What is it?” he questioned, his tone cautious.
I said, “Your grandad’s keychain.” “Don’t you just love that old thing?”
He cried out, “Sutton, I thought I lost it!”

“Nope, it’s here,” I responded. “Come pick it up this Saturday. ten in the morning. Otherwise, I’m going to discard it.”
Jacob made an attempt to back out, and I knew why. My calculations were accurate.
“Jessie’s due date is on Saturday,” he stated. “I must be by her side. As soon as my son is born, I had to see him.”
I was unmoved, though.
I said it again, “Saturday, or it’s going in the bin.”
“All right,” he sighed. “I’ll be there.”
I questioned whether I had made the wrong decision early on Saturday morning. Jacob, though, deserved it. He was prepared to give Danny and me up to live with his new family.
a fresh son.
“What do you want for breakfast, honey?” As Danny headed into the kitchen, I asked him.
“Pancakes,” he murmured as he sat down opposite me at the counter.
Jacob seems to have lost all hope for this young youngster.
I invited him in for a conversation when he got there. He gave out an almost relieved vibe, as though he was hoping for a peaceful resolution. Like that.
“I just wanted to swing by here before going back to the hospital,” he stated. “I took Jessie in last night when she went into labor. It’s merely a question of time.”
“All right,” I replied. “Do you want a cup of coffee?”

With a nod and a smile, Jacob trailed behind me into the kitchen.
“While you’re here, let’s discuss how to split our parental rights over Danny,” I said. “He needs stability in some form, irrespective of where we are with our marriage.”
Being a conceited fool, Jacob believed that this would exempt him from having to pay alimony.
He reached out to hug me and said, “I really apologize for everything,” just as the kettle went off.
I allowed him, even though I knew it would be the last of him.
After talking for about sixty minutes, Jacob began to nibble on the leftover pancakes from breakfast. He didn’t seem hurried at all and was at ease. Knowing that her partner was at ease with someone else while she was giving birth would make any woman go insane.
Jacob was unaware that the nanny cam was located on a kitchen shelf and was time-stamped as it recorded everything. Jacob also seemed to be unaware of our familiarity with one another. He kept grabbing for my arm or sliding his hand down my back while we sat there talking.
Yes, it had no significance for me. And most likely nothing to him either. However, I knew Jessie would find significance in it.
I gave him his keychain and said, “Here you go,” as soon as we got to the door.
Jacob’s gaze grew gentler.

“I’m grateful,” he said. “You know how much this means to me.”
I gave a nod.
If Jacob had moved an inch from where we were standing, the recording might have easily been interpreted for a kiss.
I grabbed my laptop and downloaded the nanny camera film as he was leaving. It was time for my retribution at last.
Before he holds his newborn and spends time with me, I hope he takes a shower and changes his clothing. Well done on spending the rest of your life with this cheater!

The consequences were swift and spectacular. As it happens, Jessie informed security that she didn’t want Jacob to be close to her and therefore cancelled his access to her ward.
The matron refused to explain to him why he was unable to see Jessie or his infant when he arrived. He made a scene and had to be escorted out by security as he cried out and begged.
It must have finally clicked because Jacob called me.
He said, “What have you done?”
“I simply ensured that you accept accountability for your deeds,” I calmly answered. “A father like you is not necessary for your second son. Danny doesn’t either. You would never again set foot in this house; it was the last day.”

Days later, Jacob would constantly text and phone me, pleading for anything—forgiveness, an explanation, or anything at all.
I moved in with my cousin when Jessie severed our relationship. Sutton, my mother isn’t even interested in talking to me. She declared that she would never forgive me since I destroyed the lives of two helpless children. I’ve embarrassed her.”
“But that’s exactly what you did, Jacob,” I replied. “You did ruin two boys and their mothers, too.”
You know what was even better, though? I watched in satisfaction and with a hint of sadness as the months passed and Jacob’s life crumbled.
He was just not settled at all, and that affected his career. He appeared to be a shadow of the man he once was, and his social circle appeared to be shrinking.
I was getting along just fine. However, after speaking with Danny, I began to wonder if I had been too severe.
“Mom, why doesn’t Dad come home anymore?” One night as I was tucking Danny into bed, he inquired.
I knew this day would arrive, but I was at a loss for words now that it had arrived.

I exhaled and gave his hair a gentle stroke.
“My dear, Dad had to leave for a little bit. However, I’m present.”
With those large, innocent eyes, he raised his gaze to me.
He questioned, “Do you still love him?”

How do you break the news to a child that their idol has destroyed your family?
“I love you, Danny,” I responded, sidestepping the query. “And that’s all that matters.”
But I feel so bad right now. Was I taking too much revenge?
How would you have responded in that situation?
