Fans Amazed by the Striking Resemblance of Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones’ 21-Year-Old Daughter
‘Beautiful Young Lady’: Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Daughter, 21, Stuns Fans with Her Resemblance to Parents
The daughter of Michael Douglas has grown up and is pursuing a job similar to her parents’ while attending college. After donning one of the actress’s old gowns, some internet users thought she looked more like her mother, while others compared her to her father.

When fans saw Michael Douglas standing with his daughter, Carys Douglas, they were ecstatic about her beauty. When her father paid her a visit at school, they made comparisons to her well-known parents.
Michael posted two pictures of himself with his daughter, whose mother is actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, on his Instagram account on October 20, 2024. Only Carys smiled in the first picture, while she and her father both seemed content in the second.
Michael posted the following, tagging his daughter: “On an autumn Sunday, I went to see my daughter Carys at school! “@carys.douglas ❤️” Upon viewing the post, internet users were unable to determine if the 21-year-old resembled her mother or father more.
According to one commenter, Carys looked more like her father. “The resemblance & vibe uncanny [sic].” One commenter agreed, saying, “She’s got her dad’s smile.”
Another admirer commented, “Beautiful looks like her Papa ❤️,” while another who believed Carys and her father had a similar characteristic added, “Dady’s [sic] chin! “What a lovely girl!”
Some Instagram users thought she favored her mother, with one commenting, “So pretty looks like her beautiful mom💙🤍,” and another, “She looks so much like Catherine❤️.”
“She’s stunning and exactly like her mother! 🥰,” one Instagram user concurred. Another person broke away from the conflicting views by posting, “What beautiful [sic] young lady she took the best from both of you 😍.”

Carys has previously been compared to her mother. When Michael’s daughter celebrated her 21st birthday in April 2024, she posted pictures to Instagram while wearing her mother’s pink 90s slip dress.
“The most perfect 21st I could ask for!” was the caption accompanying her Instagram photo. Observing the mother-daughter similarity, one follower said, “carys! like lovely like her mother, I adore you, lovely [sic] ❤️.
“Stunning beautiful gorgeous grown woman, just like her mother 😍 x,” said another fan. Carys celebrated with her pals, blowing out the candles on her birthday cake and sharing happy and humorous moments.
The dress was initially worn by Catherine on the red carpet at the 1999 MTV Movie Awards. Catherine uploaded a number of pictures of Carys from her early years to the present, showcasing the woman she has grown into, as a way to celebrate her daughter.

The actress said that Carys was the source of her happiness and wished her “beautiful” daughter a happy birthday. According to her, witnessing her daughter develop into the “most incredible woman she is today is a God-given gift that I never take for granted and cherish every day of my life.”
The celebrity thanked Carys for sharing her love and being herself as she wrapped up her post. Michael’s daughter returned the favor by expressing her joy in being Catherine’s daughter and thanked her mother for everything.
In addition, Michael paid tribute to Carys by sharing a picture of himself looking at her with affection. In addition to wishing his daughter a happy 21st birthday, he mentioned how she made him and the entire world happy.
Carys answered, “Dadda, you have my undying love! I appreciate you being the world’s greatest father ❤️. Catherine said she was thrilled to see her daughter starting college preparation back in April 2021.
With few teeth and a love of reading, the actress joked that the path to higher education begins on the bathroom floor in a “very cute alert” video of a young Carys chatting. As she browsed through old recordings, she stated that her daughter was packing for college.
Funny enough, Catherine urged her fans not to share the cute video with Carys. In September 2024, Carys posted screenshots from a film she worked on, demonstrating her affinity for her parents’ profession.

She disclosed in the description that the pictures were from a project where she was honored to be involved, “F*ck That Guy.” The movie was screened during the October 18–20 Proof Film Festival in Los Angeles.
