New Father Abandons Wife and Twins – Years Later, He Returns Desperate for Her Forgiveness

A newlywed man urges his wife to place one of their twins for adoption since he does not want to spend money on raising them. Five years later, she knocks on her door for aid after he kicks her out with the babies.

Angie was holding her newborns at the bus stop on a chilly, rainy night. “Where are we going? Jesus, please come to our aid. while she wiped warm tears off her babies’ faces, she wailed, “Shield us as we wait out this rough night.” Angie’s parents had passed away a long time ago, and she had nowhere to go.

She was frightened when she suddenly felt something skulking behind her. Whatever it was, Angie found the strength to shield her children from it. “It’s a dog!” she exclaimed deeply.

Angie never thought her life would suddenly become chaotic. She never imagined that Jake, her husband, whom she had loved and trusted throughout their marriage, would abandon her with their children a week after they were born.

“I wish my mother could be here today…Thinking of her late mother, Angie lamented, “I should have listened to you and not rushed with my marriage with Jake. I’m sorry, mama.”

Five years ago, after graduating, Angie met Jake. She believed he was the one; he was a young, attractive man. In what would become a romantic narrative straight out of a fairy tale, they fell in love, but Angie’s ‘happily ever after’ was not real.

When Sarah revealed her pregnancy to Jake in the fourth year of their marriage, problems began.

“But as you are aware, my business is only getting started, sweetie. Angie showed Jake the two pink lines on her pregnancy test kit, which disturbed Jake. “We have put off baby planning for years, and I’m not ready to be a father yet,” Jake said.

Jake’s unwillingness to become a father demonstrated his lack of readiness for adult responsibilities. Poor Angie was caught between wanting as many children as she could and his disdain of having them. Was Jake ready to learn that Angie was expecting twins, though?

Angie emerged, upset and anxious. She should have been beaming and smiling, but instead she was pallid.

Impatiently awaiting her response, he questioned, “What is it?” “What did the doctor say?”

Partly anticipating Jake’s response, Angie forced herself to speak up despite her dread. Her words, “Our babies are fine,”

He said, “Alright…wait, what…babies?”

Angie saw two tiny lives growing inside of her during the scan she had just completed. Jake was upset to learn that she was expecting twins.

As Angie read Jake’s thoughts and visualized his displeasure, he hurried to his car. She believed he had made a joke about having just one child, which made her anxious. However, his responses showed differently.

Jake became increasingly aloof from Angie and concentrated solely on increasing his income. She figured he would eventually calm down because she understood he was upset about having twins. However, throughout her third trimester, it just became worse.

Waiting for Jake to meet their newborn twin girls, Angie was in the hospital. However, he never appeared. Three days later, he dispatched his driver and maid to bring Angie and their infants home.

Jake had no desire to interfere with his children. He didn’t even hold them or greet them at home. He was not ready to be their father and was unhappy.

Angie knew very little about Jake’s condition when she brought her newborns home that night. “We place one child for adoption and retain the other. We are a family, if you don’t mind. “You can leave the house with them if you don’t,” he informed Angie.

Angie initially believed Jake was joking. He showed that he was serious by dragging her bag to the living room and setting it in front of her.

“Raising two kids and breaking the bank is not something I’m ready for. My company is producing a lot of money, but I should concentrate on increasing it.He clarified, “I can easily raise just one child, so I don’t want to waste my time and money raising two.”

Angie was heartbroken. “Jake, they are our babies. How could a woman be asked to give up her child? Have you gone insane? Our emblem of love is both of my babies,” she sobbed. Jake, however, was unyielding.

“I don’t have time to devote to my family because my business has just begun to take off. Spending my hard-earned money on two babies is not something I wish to do. If you agree to keep only one baby, you can stay here; if you choose to keep both, you can leave. Despite knowing that Angie had nowhere to go, he continued, “Decide wisely, dear.”

The poor mother’s decision was clear. Taking her suitcase, she and the babies departed the house. Jake’s love for his family was overshadowed by his avarice for his newfound wealth. He was a bad father and husband. He didn’t care, though.

Cradling her babies, Angie was still alone at the bus stop when she jerked to the present. “Where am I going? She screamed, “Please help me, Jesus,” and was startled by a powerful beam of light.

“Hi there, how are you? It’s pouring rain. “My dear, would you like a ride?” From a taxi, an elderly woman cried out to her. Angie noticed a nun when she looked up. She went to the car after wrapping her baby in her jacket.

The nun said, “Oh my, how adorable your babies are!” “Enter. I’ll let you go. Where would you like to travel?

Angie remarked, “I don’t know, Sister,” “I am lost and my road is dark. I’m not sure which direction to take. Someone close to us abandoned me and my babies.

The nun brought Angie to the monastery right away after realizing how miserable she was.

To weather the difficult times in their lives, Angie and her kids, Sophie and Marley, found a secure place to stay. Angie was a teacher at the church-run school. She accumulated a sizable sum of money to launch her café two years after working part-time in a restaurant.

Though things may have been much better had their father been involved, Angie was eventually able to provide her girls with a better existence. Furthermore, Angie had no regrets about her choice to forgo a divorce from Jake. She secretly hoped that one day he would see his error and come for them.

After five years, Angie had a home of her own. It was cozy despite being little. Her favorite years were spent seeing Sophia and Marley’s development.

Angie’s faith and perseverance kept her going when she struggled to make enough money from her business. Gradually, her riches increased as she opened two additional coffee shops in the town. Jake’s firm, however, collapsed in the other area of town.

He was heavily indebted, and all of the people he turned to for financial support turned him down at the last second. Jake believed that only Angie could assist him because he was aware of her current wealth.

“Hey, how are you?” One day, Angie was surprised to see Jake at the door when she answered it. “Come in!”

Jake gave Angie a hazy smile and apologized right away. “I sincerely apologize for leaving you, darling. I lost a lot of money as a result of my avarice. The best punishment for throwing you out with our babies is that I am bankrupt. Please help me, and please pardon me.

Now Angie knew why Jake had come. Although she was aware of his business loss, she never imagined he would come see her and offer an apology, much less ask for assistance.

Jake started crying as he saw a picture of Angie with their daughters. “I apologize, my dears. He said, “Please pardon your father.” Even though Angie knew Jake had come begging for aid, she was still willing to help him because she still loved him, and her heart warmed.

“But I won’t be able to pay back such a large sum of money, sweetheart. I’ll require time. I was such a heartless father and a horrible husband. Do you really wish to assist me? When Angie handed him a check for the amount he requested, he broke down in tears.

“I discovered what greed is and how it destroys relationships the night you threw me out. And I discovered what forgiveness is today. What will we gain by harboring resentment toward the past? Nothing! As humans, we must learn to forgive one another despite the fact that everyone makes errors,” Angie added.

After resolving his business problems, Jake promised to bring Angie and their children back. He wanted to make up for the heartache Angie had suffered for so long by being a good parent to his kids.
