World Champion Figure Skaters’ Final Words to Their Son Before Tragic Plane Crash Revealed

Heartbreaking last words of world champion figure skaters to son before fatal plane crash revealed

Before boarding the plane, the parents of the figure skaters who had previously won the Russian world championship assured their son that they were “proud” of him. The flight was operated by American Airlines and crashed in Washington, District of Columbia.

The American Airlines flight that was carrying 64 passengers was involved in a collision with a military helicopter over the nation’s capital, and it is suspected that all of the passengers on board were killed.

Following reports from local media that former world champions Yevgenia Shishkova, 53, and Vadim Naumov, 56, were on board the tragic flight, the Kremlin verified that Russian citizens were on board the aircraft.

In the year 1994, the married couple triumphed in the couples competition at the World Figure Skating Championship.

Following their attendance at the United States Figure Skating Championships in Wichita, Kansas, the two individuals, who are now coaches, were on their way back to Washington.

In the present moment, their son Maxim Naumov has disclosed the last words that they had spoken to him prior to boarding the flight.

“We are proud of you, Maxim,” the couple stated to their figure skater son in a post on another social media platform, according to reports from Russian media.

In 1998, the pair, who were originally from Leningrad, relocated to the United States, where they began working as instructors.

According to the reports, they were accompanied by a group of junior skaters as they made their way back from the competition.

Their son, Maxim, who finished in fourth place at the tournament, is alleged to have departed Kansas on Monday with Anton Spiridonov, who is also an American figure skater.

The Ronald Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia was the destination of the flight that originated in Wichita, Kansas when it finally touched down.

There were sixty passengers and four crew members on board the plane, and there were three soldiers from the United States Army on the Blackhawk chopper.

Chief John Donnelly, who is in charge of fire and emergency medical services in the District of Columbia, provided an update this afternoon and verified that all 64 individuals on board are likely to have perished.

“We don’t believe there are any survivors from this accident and we have recovered 27 people from the plane and one from the helicopter,” according to his statement to media.

There are divers and boats from the police department searching the water for bodies, but the conditions are described as “extremely rough” with “blocks of ice” in the river, which has lately reached its frozen state.

At least thirty bodies have been discovered up to this point.

It is anticipated that the procedure would take at least a few days to complete.
