Heartbroken Father Opens Up About Daughter’s Eerie Last Message

Father of cancer-surviving daughter who died in American Airlines crash reveals text that made him think something was wrong

The father of a 12-year-old daughter and his wife, both of whom were killed in the tragic incident that occurred on American Airlines, has disclosed the factors that caused him to suspect that something was amiss.

At around nine minutes before nine o’clock on Wednesday (January 29), a Black Hawk helicopter belonging to the United States Army and a PSA Airlines aircraft, which is owned by American Airlines, collided in the air.

There was a catastrophe that occurred when Flight 5342 was getting ready to land at Ronald Reagan National Airport, which is located close to Washington, District of Columbia.

A helicopter and a plane both crashed into the Potomac River, causing the debris of both to fall into the water. The plane had sixty passengers and four crew members on board when it crashed.

The’recovery’ mission is still going on, and it is thought that all of the persons who were on board the commercial aircraft and three people who were on the helicopter have not survived.

The victims include a man’s wife and his daughter, who had triumphed over cancer earlier in life and was 12 years old at the time of the tragedy.

During an interview with ABC News, Andy Beyer expressed his sorrow over the loss of his daughter Brielle and his wife Justyna, who was 42 years old. The couple had just returned to the capital after participating in the United States Figure Skating National Development Camp.

The following is what Beyer had to say about his daughter, who was diagnosed with cancer when she was a baby: “She was just such a fighter in everything she did.” She simply embraced every aspect of life and lived it to the fullest.

The development that she had achieved in figure skating was something that she was quite proud of herself for. Being a member of that team was one of her life’s ambitions. It was accomplished by her. In addition to that, she was incredibly proud of herself.

When Beyer became aware that something was not quite right, he was on his way to the airport with the couple’s son, who was six years old, in order to pick up his wife and daughter.

“When it was time for the plane to land, they hadn’t landed [and] we couldn’t get text messages through,” according to his explanation.

Witnessing the arrival of all the emergency services added an additional layer of concern, and it was a buddy who worked as an air traffic controller who confirmed the crash.

Beyer made this statement to ABC News: “I didn’t have a lot of hope unfortunately, we had a good cry about it right then and there and then we had to go in with the family waiting room and everything before we, hours later, got any official word of what had fully happened.”

A ‘friend of the Beyer family’ has organised a GoFundMe campaign in order to provide financial assistance to the Beyer family at this trying time.

“In a tragic turn of events, we are heartbroken to share the devastating loss of 12-year-old Brielle and her beloved mother, Justyna, who both tragically died in the recent Washington, DC, plane crash,” according to the GoFundMe website.

“Their absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of family and friends, and we are reaching out to our community for support during this incredibly difficult time.”
