According to a source close to the couple who spoke to The Wrap on the condition of anonymity, they have now made their home in the Cotswolds and have no plans to return to the United States, particularly not until Trump continues to hold the presidency.

The couple, who had been active property speculators in Los Angeles and owned many homes, including those in Santa Barbara, is going through a significant transition as a result of something that has happened.

It has been reported by Site Line that the pair has made investments totaling at least 350 million dollars in Santa Barbara real estate assets since the year 2006.

However, it is possible that Ellen’s decision to leave the United States is not solely motivated by politics and women’s rights, both of which have been the subject of intense debate and protest ever since Trump took office.

Ellen joked in her most recent comedy special that was available on Netflix, saying, “I got kicked out of show business.”

Since she departed her long-running talk show in the midst of allegations that it had a toxic culture, her Netflix special titled “For Your Approval” was released in September. This is the first significant endeavor she has attempted since leaving the show.

In April of this year, Ellen disclosed that the scandal that surrounded her program had a significant influence on her emotions.
