Waking Up Between 3 and 5 AM? The Surprising Reason Behind It
Do you wake up between the hours of 3 and 5am? The reason isn’t what you might think
Do you frequently wake up between three and five in the morning, check the time, see it’s still early, and then fall back asleep? It is typically really nice to get an extra hour of sleep in the morning.
I also experienced this, and for a long time I assumed it was simply my subconscious. But after some investigation and reflection, I understood that waking up at this hour wasn’t really a coincidence. It felt almost like an invisible force was jolting me awake as I woke up on my own.
At first, I wrote it off as a peculiarity of my sleep schedule. However, as the pattern persisted, I started to think there might be more involved.

The regularity of the timing, the intense ideas I had when I woke up, and the mental clarity I experienced in those early hours all suggested something more profound. I had the impression that the universe was attempting to tell me that I had been selected for something bigger.
This post is for you if you are among those who wake up regularly between three and five in the morning. Dr. Neeti Kaushik will discuss the significance of this phenomenon and how to take advantage of this exceptional chance for spiritual and personal development in today’s article I.
What Does Getting Up Between 3 and 5 AM Mean?
The Day’s Quietest Hour:
The earth is at its calmest between 3 and 5 AM. A sense of calm that is difficult to obtain during the busy hours of the day is there, along with less noise and distractions.
This calm makes the ideal setting for introspection and spiritual enlightenment. Have you noticed how much traffic there is on the road during peak hours?
It can take a long time to cross the street, and you could feel hurried and nervous. However, you can cross the same road without any fear or reluctance if you try to do so early in the morning.

Our minds are no different. We are able to think more freely in the early morning hours when we are not distracted by the day’s bustle and commotion. Early morning energy is clean and unadulterated, offering a special chance to access our innermost sensations and thoughts free from other distractions.
The Spiritual Hour: Known as the “Brahma Muhurta,” this time frame is considered by many spiritual traditions and traditional practices to be ideal for meditation, prayer, and spiritual pursuits.
The separation between the material and spiritual worlds is thought to be at its smallest during these early morning hours, facilitating increased clarity and divine insight.
Setting goals and looking for direction is best done at this time because it is believed to be when the cosmos is most open to our ideas and intentions.
Many of you can identify with the advice I received as a child to study during this period. But, as a night owl, I often wondered why I should follow this routine since I was more attentive at night. Years later, I made the decision to try early mornings while writing my books and looking for writing inspiration. I was surprised to find a discernible difference.

My mind felt sharper and more receptive to new ideas during these peaceful hours. More ideas came to me, and I noticed that I was improving my writing significantly.
Without the typical distractions of the day, it seemed as though the quiet of the early morning created a perfect environment for my creativity to flourish.
I learnt from this experience how important it is to follow your natural rhythms and experiment with various techniques to boost your creativity and productivity.
Heightened Intuition: This time of day may be a sign of increased awareness to the energy around you and heightened intuition. Your subconscious mind may be attempting to tell you something, and the universe may be encouraging you to listen to your inner voice.
You may be able to identify patterns that you may otherwise miss and make better judgements as a result of this increased awareness. On certain mornings, for instance, I got up spontaneously and felt compelled to follow a particular idea or course of action.

One such incident that comes to mind is when I was thinking about changing careers. One early morning, I woke up feeling clear-headed and certain that this change was not only required, but also in line with my deeper goals. I started my new adventure with Nitty Gritty With Dr. Neeti Kaushik after putting my trust in that intuitive guidance, which lead me to a rewarding new route.
These experiences serve as a reminder of the value of early morning ideas, which present significant chances for introspection and consequential decision-making.
The Body’s Natural Rhythms: The “Lung Meridian,” which is associated with emotions and spiritual health, is said to be located between 3 and 5 AM in traditional Chinese medicine. This period is linked to the body’s energy regeneration as well as the processing of sadness and loss.
During this time, waking up could indicate that you need to deal with unsolved difficulties in your life or that your body is mending emotionally.
Accepting the Message of the Morning
I established a schedule that has enabled me to make the most of this time for my spiritual and personal growth after realising the importance of waking up between three and five in the morning. Here’s how to follow suit:

Show thankfulness: I place my feet on the floor, clasp my hands together, and recite “काराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मी, करमध्ये सरस्वती।.” The words “करमूले तु गोविन्द, प्रभाते करदर्शनम्।” and give thanks to the cosmos for picking me. Being thankful makes my day better and makes room in my heart for additional benefits. You can express gratitude to the universe or recite the name of a deity.
My attitude changes from one of annoyance to one of admiration and interest when I realise the importance of my waking times.
Hydrate and Refresh: To keep my body hydrated, I have a glass of water. I take a shower in order to properly awaken and get ready for a fruitful meditation and manifestation session.
Hydration is essential for both our physical and mental health, and drinking water first thing in the morning speeds up our metabolism and helps to clear our system.
Deep Breathing and Meditation: To centre myself, I start with ten deep breaths. I then look for a cosy spot to sit, avoiding the temptation to go back to sleep in bed. I go into a contemplative state and concentrate on my breathing.

Now is the ideal moment for me to visualise my dreams and bring them to life. My ability to connect with my inner self is facilitated by deep breathing, which also helps to oxygenate my brain, lower stress levels, and improve attention. Take advantage of our 7-Day Miracle Meditation Course.
Journaling and Reflection: I have a notepad or diary next to my bed. I write down any ideas or queries that cross my head as soon as I wake up.
This might have to do with my relationships, profession, or personal development. I pray to the cosmos for direction and remain receptive to the answers that may appear in dreams, symbols, or ordinary events. Writing down my ideas helps me identify reoccurring trends and monitor my development over time.
Channelling Messages: I jot down any thoughts or messages I get while I’m feeling at ease. I may not receive the answers to my enquiries right away, but they should arrive in 48 hours. These signals can be conveyed by a fortuitous meeting, a brief exchange of words, or an epiphany.
I can more successfully navigate my course if I am aware of these tiny clues.
Planning and Strategy: I make use of this peaceful period to organise my day or lay out the measures I need to take to achieve my immediate and long-term objectives.
I set a strong tone for the remainder of my day with the clarity and focus I attain during these hours. I view this time as an opportunity for strategic planning, during which I may establish goals, lay out my priorities, and envision your achievement.
Having Trouble Staying Awake? A Quick Routine Can Be Beneficial
Don’t worry if you still have trouble staying awake or if your sleep schedule forces you to go to bed late and still need to get at least six hours of sleep. This unique time can still be beneficial to you without seriously interfering with your sleep schedule. Simply complete the aforementioned tasks for ten to twelve minutes after waking up, and then return to your sleep.
Without affecting your overall sleep quality, this small disruption can nevertheless help you gain clarity and access the message from the cosmos.

The Strength of the Morning
Early in the morning is a powerful time for meditation and manifestation. Spiritual leaders, scientists like Albert Einstein and Mahatma Gandhi, and even contemporary businesspeople like Tim Cook and Oprah Winfrey have all made use of these hours to reach their greatest potential.
Significant personal and professional breakthroughs might result from the peace and enhanced spiritual connection that are accessible at this period. Early rising and making use of the quiet hours has been associated with increased creativity, productivity, and mental wellness.
The universe is calling you to wake up between three and five in the morning, letting you know that you are unique and selected for a greater purpose. Take advantage of this chance to ask for advice, show gratitude, and establish a strong connection with your inner self.

You can achieve greater levels of clarity, focus, and fulfilment in your life by balancing with the early morning energies.
The next time you wake up before the sun comes up, keep in mind that it’s the universe telling you something; pay attention, and you might find the answers you’ve been looking for.
