Donald Trump Ends Secret Service Protection for Hunter and Ashley Biden

Donald Trump ends Secret Service for Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden

The two adult children of President Joe Biden, Hunter and Ashley Biden, are now under the protection of the Secret Service, but President Donald Trump has taken a dramatic step and ordered that this security be immediately terminated.

In his announcement of the decision, which was made on March 17 via social media, Trump cited high expenses and massive security details as factors for justifying the decision.

Within the first few weeks of his new administration, President Donald Trump wasted no time in reducing the amount of security that was financed by taxpayers.

He did this by removing the protection of the Secret Service for a number of prominent individuals.

As a result of their activities in Trump’s first administration, former National Security Advisor John Bolton, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and retired General Mark Milley were among those who were affected. All of these individuals had been subjected to genuine threats from Iran while serving in their respective positions.

Additionally, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who had been exempt from protection due to the multiple threats that were made against him in connection with his management of the COVID-19 epidemic, was removed off the list.

During his defense of the move, President Trump made it abundantly apparent that he was not willing to give lifetime security.

The statement that he made to the media at the time was as follows: “When you have protection, you can’t have it for the rest of your life.”

During his tour of the Kennedy Center in Washington, District of Columbia, on Monday, President Donald Trump was confronted by a reporter over the protection that Hunter Biden received from the Secret Service when he was on vacation in South Africa from the Secret Service.

“I’m going to look into that later this afternoon,” she said. I see. The response that Trump gave was, “I just found out about it for the first time.”

Only a few hours later, President Trump made his decision official by stating on Truth Social that Hunter Biden’s security detail would be immediately terminated.

Trump tweeted that Hunter Biden has been protected by the Secret Service for a considerable amount of time, and that this protection has been paid for by the taxpayers of the United States.

The number of individuals working on this Detail is as high as eighteen, which is just absurd!

It has been rumored that Ashley Biden, who had thirteen agents assigned to her, may eventually lose protection as well.

Why at this time?

It is not a secret that Donald Trump does not exactly have a favorable opinion of Joe Biden and his family.

The president constantly brings up his predecessor and the measures he took, despite the fact that their election war has now passed and is now in the past.

Following their departure from office, former presidents and their spouses are eligible for protection from the Secret Service for the rest of their lives, unless they choose to forego this security.

Once they reach the age of 16, children of previous presidents are no longer protected by the Secret Service, as stipulated by federal law.

On the other hand, both Biden and Trump have prolonged the security details of their children for an additional six months after finishing their terms as president. In his most recent step, Trump has officially terminated those extensions.

Trump also took aim at Hunter Biden’s recent travels, highlighting the fact that he was staying in South Africa for his vacation.

South Africa is a country that Trump has condemned for her practices regarding land seizures and human rights violations.

The dubious pardons granted by Biden

The declaration made by Trump came not long after Joe Biden granted a comprehensive pardon to his son, Hunter Biden, which included any federal charges committed between the years 2014 and 2024.

By taking this extraordinary action, Hunter was able to have his convictions for tax evasion and unlawful weapons ownership overturned.

In spite of the fact that he had earlier vowed not to meddle, Vice President Biden defended his decision by stating,

“No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can conclude anything other than that he was singled out simply because he is my son—and that is wrong.” When it comes to “enough,”

Preemptive pardons were also granted by Vice President Joe Biden to a number of individuals prior to his departure from office. These individuals included Fauci, retired General Mark Milley, and members of the legislative committee that investigated the disturbance that occurred on January 6 in the Capitol.

Other members of the law enforcement community who testified in front of the committee were also granted pardons. In order to justify his acts, Biden argued that the persons in question were in danger of being persecuted for their political beliefs.

Trump has declared that Biden’s pardons are empty.

In a stunning announcement that sent shockwaves through the internet, President Trump claimed that several of Vice President Biden’s last-minute pardons were “void, vacant, and of no further force or effect.”

According to him, the pardons that were granted to members of the January 6 committee were improperly signed using an autopen, which is a device that mimics autographs. He specifically questioned the legitimacy of these pardons.

Trump said on Truth Social, “Therefore, those on the Unselect Committee, who destroyed and deleted ALL evidence obtained during their two year Witch Hunt of me, and many other innocent people, should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level.

” Trump’s statement was made in reference to some individuals who were involved in the probe.
