Donald Trump Releases JFK Files, and Fans All Say the Same Thing

By making hundreds of classified documents about President John F. Kennedy’s assassination public, Donald Trump has once again rocked the political establishment.

Many conspiracy theorists and historians had predicted the decision, but it has also caused a stir among Trump’s followers, many of whom say it is evidence of his dedication to open government.

The events leading up to Kennedy’s assassination on November 22, 1963, have stimulated conjecture and speculations for many years.

Many were hoping to finally find hidden realities behind the assassination of the 35th President of the United States with the declassification of 80,000 documents.

Trump alluded to the importance of the materials when he made the statement on March 17. “We have an enormous quantity of paper.

You read a great deal. In the Kennedy Center, Trump, 78, said, “I don’t think we’re going to redact anything.” They have spent decades waiting for that.

I also promised to release them during the campaign, and I keep my word, so you will get the JFK files tomorrow.

In accordance with the 1992 Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act, which required the complete release of assassination-related documents by 2017, the declassification was completed. However,

certain papers were withheld by earlier governments, including Trump’s in 2018, on the grounds of national security. In 2022, even President Joe Biden released 13,000 records, but he kept certain files confidential.

Some records are still inaccessible, even after Trump made audacious promises that all files would be made public without redactions. In an interview with the New York Post, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard described the action as part of a renewed commitment to transparency, saying,

“President Trump is ushering in a new era of maximum transparency.” He has ordered that previously censored JFK Assassination Files be made publicly available without redactions. Promises are made and fulfilled.

The public’s response, however, has been conflicting. Many critics noted that important records are still missing, even as Trump’s supporters celebrated the action as a triumph for truth.

One social media user asked, “Why are there still classified files if they truly wanted to give us everything?” Others were disappointed, stating that they had anticipated more shocking disclosures.

Historians and researchers are sifting through the just made public records in quest of any novel information. It remains to be seen if these files will offer conclusive answers or merely deepen the enigma.

As of right now, Trump’s choice has rekindled interest in one of the most contentious historical occurrences in American history, and his supporters are echoing the well-worn phrase: “Trump delivers where others fail.”
