Donald Trump Sends Strong Message to Zelensky Amid Rising Tensions
Donald Trump issues furious warning to Zelensky
Donald Trump is done being diplomatic, and the long-promised peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine is still nowhere to be seen.
The former president delivers one of his most inflammatory threats to date in a furious new address, taking direct aim at Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky’s accusation
Donald Trump frequently asserted during his campaign that he could end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine “within 24 hours.
” However, that promise hasn’t exactly come to pass thus far, and it’s becoming more and more obvious that the president of the United States is becoming increasingly irritated with the state of affairs.
President Donald Trump has delivered his most scathing warning to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky yet in a heated tirade that is already igniting social media.
He accuses Zelensky of prolonging the war with Russia and putting the country at risk of complete collapse.

Late yesterday night, the commander-in-chief posted an unambiguous ultimatum on Truth Social: engage in negotiations immediately or risk losing everything.
Trump wrote, “He can either have peace or fight for another three years before losing the entire country.” “Zelenskyy’s statement today will only serve to prolong the ‘killing field,’ and no one wants that!”
What caused the rage?
Zelensky told The Wall Street Journal that Ukraine “will not legally recognize the occupation of Crimea,” which infuriated Trump.
Declaring that Crimea was lost “years ago under the auspices of President Barack Hussein Obama” and was no longer debatable, the U.S. president denounced the declaration as “very harmful to the Peace Negotiations with Russia.”
“If Zelenskyy wants Crimea, why didn’t they fight for it eleven years ago when it was given to Russia without a shot being fired? No one is requesting that he recognize it as Russian territory.” Trump was furious.

He continued by accusing Zelensky of “boasting” and making “inflammatory statements” about what Trump described as a “dire” scenario.
Trump doubled down in his harshest condemnation to date, implying Zelensky has lost all remaining leverage:
The man who has “no cards to play” should finally get it done, even though we are extremely close to a deal.
Trump also criticized the conflict’s human cost:
“I have nothing to do with Russia, but I do have a strong desire to save the 5,000 Russian and Ukrainian soldiers who are killed every week for no apparent reason.”
The danger posed by Rubio
The United States may “walk away” from the deadlocked negotiations, Trump’s Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters in Paris just hours ago.
Rubio stated simply, “We are now at a point where we need to decide whether this is even possible or not.” If it isn’t, I believe we will simply go on. We are not at war.

The comments coincide with reports that U.S. officials pulled out of a high-stakes conference in London after Ukraine refused to accede to American demands, including ceding territory to Russia.
Rather, Steve Witkoff, Trump’s peace envoy, was seen traveling to Moscow to have a face-to-face meeting with Vladimir Putin.
The change in tone has alarmed allies of the United States. “The US are f***ing up everything – on Ukraine, on tariffs, on everything,” an unnamed British minister told Daily Mail, indicating that UK officials were caught off guard by the White House’s strategies.

Ben Wallace, the former defense secretary for the United Kingdom, also did not mince words:
“Donald Trump and his red-neck team of Walter Mittys, media pundits, and real estate salesmen who don’t understand the world we live in will cause the next war, not Ukraine’s actions.”
