Baby’s Cries Seemed Unstoppable — What the Parents Found in the Crib Changed Everything
Little Baby Won’t Stop Crying No Matter What Parents Do, Then They Finally Check the Crib – Story of the Day
When Walter gets home from work, his infant kid is sobbing. Nothing has worked to calm their son, despite his wife’s best efforts. When Walter chooses to inspect the crib, he is startled by what he discovers.

As Walter came in from the garage, a deafening scream reverberated throughout the house. He could tell Logan’s cries were upsetting his wife, Abby, because of the upset expression on her face as she sat in the kitchen.
He says, “Oh, honey,” and gives her a back hug. “How long has he been crying like that?”
“I’ve tried everything, Walter!” Abby started crying uncontrollably. “He’s been burped, bathed, fed, and changed! I even took his temperature. Right now, I’m not sure what to do. He is crying all the time.
The couple’s lives completely changed a month ago when they became parents. And Logan’s sobs were the one thing that troubled Walter the most.
After telling Abby, “Come, we’ll figure this out together,” Walter led her to Logan’s room.
He walked up to Logan’s crib with a smile. However, he only noticed a message and a dictaphone in the cradle. Logan’s cries ceased as Walter hit the dictaphone’s stop button.

“What did you do?” From behind, Abby called. Walter was not paying attention. Holding the note, he lost consciousness. He didn’t comprehend what had happened until Abby grabbed the note out of his hand and opened it.
“You’ll regret being impolite to me, I told you.
Leave $200,000 in the luggage storage lockers by the port if you wish to see your baby again.
You won’t see him again if you report him to the police.
“Oh my God!” Abby let out a gasp. “What does it signify? Did I offend anyone? Were you? Logan would be abducted by whom?
Walter thought of the maternity hospital janitor he had abused. While Abby was in the hospital, he brought her a cute bear-shaped pot, but when he stumbled over the janitor’s broom, the pot cracked.
When Walter became enraged and began calling the man derogatory names, the janitor remarked, “You’ll regret it!”
Walter replied, “We’ll have to go to the police, honey,” as he interrupted his reverie. “It must be him!”
“What? According to the note, Walter, if we call the police, we won’t see Logan ever again. We ought to simply pay the ransom.
“If we do that, we’re not sure if he’ll give Logan back. Consider it, my dear. Since we know where he works, the police might be able to go straight to the maternity hospital, arrest him, and bring Logan home to us. This guy is a janitor, so he wouldn’t know if we called them.”
Abby concurred.
Outside the station, Walter parked their vehicle. Walter’s phone buzzed with a message just as he and Abby were ready to get out of the car.
“This is the final warning you will ever receive. Your child will go into the bay if you enter that police station. Deliver the funds to the address shown below.
Walter glanced around, hoping to see the kidnapper, while Abby gasped as she read the note. However, the number of people was excessive. Now, paying the ransom was the only way to save Logan.
Walter immediately made the decision to travel to the bank, but Abby’s health worsened. She had already thrown up once and was on the verge of doing so again. Walter decided it would be preferable to drive her home.
“Don’t hate me for it, honey, but that’s the best for you,” he replied. Abby also didn’t object.
“All right… She started crying and said, “But Walter—does that kidnapper even know about taking care of a newborn?”
Walter drove her home without saying anything. Dark concepts, however

, were not immune to his imagination. He kept seeing Logan sobbing for rescue that never arrived in a pitch-black chamber.
Walter managed to gather himself and drove to the bank. He then went to the storage locker that the abductor had described and put the cash inside.
Walter knew the janitor would be somewhere close, observing him, but there were too many people for him to see him. Walter went back to his vehicle, drove a short distance, and parked once more near the lockers. Soon after, he caught sight of the maternity hospital janitor.
The locker was opened by the janitor. Walter straightened up, but the janitor was out of sight as a group of tourists passed.
“Move it!” Walter lost his temper.
As the tourists made their way to one of the statues, agonizing minutes passed. Walter cursed as the final few individuals in the group passed the lockers. The janitor was no longer there.
Walter looked around the crowd, almost daring to breathe. The man shouldn’t have been difficult to identify because he had been sporting the kind of gaudy clothing that was sold in the more eclectic, hippie-themed shops.
There! When Walter saw the janitor crossing the street, he felt a flood of relief. Walter had put the bag of cash in the locker, and he was carrying it. Walter jumped out of his car and went after him.
Before he went into a bus station, the man took him around a parking lot, past a number of museums and eateries. They were making their way to another locker row.
The bag was put inside a locker by the janitor. Walter was prepared when he turned around. He used his forearm to hold the janitor there after pushing him against the lockers.

“Where is my son?” Walter insisted. “I’ve done everything you asked, you jerk; now return Logan to me!”
“Look, I was offered $100 to collect the package and then drop it off here,” replied the individual. “I don’t know about your son!”
“Don’t you dare lie!”
“I’m not! I was hired to deliver the box by a guy! One day after work, I ran into him in the parking lot, but I couldn’t see his face since he was standing with the light behind him. I am the parent of two children. I would never harm another person’s child.
Walter could tell the older man wasn’t lying by the look in the janitor’s eyes. After releasing the man, he unlocked the locker. However, it was deserted. A hole had been cut in the rear by someone.
Around to the rear of the lockers, Walter jogged. A thin steel plate, loosely fastened with two screws, was placed over the opening from the back. The bag he’d put the money in was the only one in the area.
Walter was unsure of how to inform Abby of the situation. Their miracle child was Logan. Before they became parents to him, they had been going through years of hardship. And now his sole hope of winning Logan back was gone.

Walter went into his house. He looked in every room downstairs, but he couldn’t find Abby. He discovered Abby’s belongings were missing when he went upstairs to inspect their bedroom.
Walter initially thought she had been abducted. He called her. countless times. However, she never responded. Then he realized that not everything Abby owned would have been taken by the abductor. She didn’t even have any hand lotion.
To put it mildly, Walter was devastated. How could Abby harm them in this way? It makes sense why she had been so ready to get home after feeling ill. She had demanded that they pay the money as well. Logan was abducted by Abby. Did she have a partner?
The fact that the ransom money was fictitious was the only thing that made Walter feel better. He would return his son in some way.

Walter located the man he was seeking for—a doctor—near the vending machine at the maternity hospital where Logan was delivered.
“Hi,” Walter said to him. “I’m hoping you can assist me. Someone needs to phone my wife—”
“I’m not a phone service,” the physician snapped back.
“You’re not getting it. For your help, doctor, and your silence, I’m willing to pay you well.”
The doctor narrowed his eyes and scrutinized Walter. As Walter described his predicament and what he wanted the doctor to say to Abby, he grinned slowly.
Then Walter took out his wallet and secretly showed the doctor the dollar dollars that were in it. The man gave a nod. Alright, we’ve made a deal. Join me!”
The doctor led Walter to a second-floor nurse’s station. Based on the activity in the hallways, it appeared that every nurse was checking on their patients. The doctor picked up the phone and dialed Abby’s number, but no one paid much attention.
“This is Dr. Jones from the maternity hospital. Good morning, Mrs. Taylor. I’m calling to let you know that during one of the usual tests we conducted on your newborn boy, we recently found something really concerning. He must be seen right away for treatment.

From the opposite side of the nurse’s station, Walter heard Abby’s heartfelt sobbing, but he was unable to understand what she was saying.
I apologize, but I am unable to go about the specifics over the phone. For the time being, I can only say that he has a rare hereditary issue. He does appear to be doing well right now, but that could change at any time. He is more susceptible to SIDS and a number of other potentially fatal illnesses. Mrs. Taylor, you absolutely must bring him in today.”
A few minutes later, Dr. Jones gave Walter the thumbs-up and hung up.
“She’s going to bring the baby in ASAP.” Dr. Jones wriggled his fingers and extended his hand. “I contributed what I could. It’s time for you to make the payment.
After giving the doctor his money, Walter returned downstairs. After a few minutes of aimless wandering, his phone began to ring. When he looked at the caller ID, his lip twisted in disgust.
“You have some nerve to phone me after what you did, Abby,” Walter replied. “Where is Logan? I insist that you return him.
“Says the man who doesn’t even care enough about him to pay the ransom!” Abby let out a cry. “That money, you tight-fisted jerk, was all false. Logan has an urgent medical appointment, and I am unable to take him because of you. Walter, where’s the actual money?
“It has always been in my account. Is this just another ploy to steal my money, or what’s wrong with Logan?
Abby started crying and cursed at him. “He’s unwell, as I mentioned! In order for him to have therapy, you must provide me the money. Without it, he will perish.

“I refuse to let my son perish! Walter said, “I’ll pay,” and hung up.
His heart ached again when he heard Abby admit that she was responsible for Logan’s abduction. After a few minutes, he managed to gather himself enough to use his money transfer app to send her an instant payment. He just needed to wait now.
When Walter’s younger brother, James, arrived at the hospital with Abby, tears streamed down his face. While Abby conversed with the receptionist, James cradled Logan close to his chest.
As the police officers and FBI agents moved closer and surrounded Abby and James, it felt as though time was standing still. Walter had told the police in beforehand.
An FBI agent said, “You’re under arrest for kidnapping!” “Hand the child over, nice and slowly, and raise your hands.”
“Get away from us!” Abby stood between Logan and the FBI agent and screamed. “My son is ill. He must visit a physician.

Walter shouted, “No, he isn’t,” as he walked up to the gathering. “There’s nothing wrong with Logan at all.”
Abby’s eyes were fixed on him. Walter saw her eyes change from ones of fear and doubt to ones of blazing rage. She hurried forward, as if to assault him. However, she was tackled by the cops. James and she were taken into custody.
Relieved to see his son again, Walter gave him a hug. Abby wasn’t finished yet, though.
“You believe you’ve triumphed? You don’t even own Logan! Remember, you couldn’t conceive me? However, it’s obvious that your problem is not inherited. She shouted.
Walter stopped. He glanced at his brother, who refused to even look up at him. Walter was hurt. But he had Logan beside him, so it didn’t matter.

He retorted, “I will adopt him if that’s what I have to do!” After saying, “I will watch him grow up while you two rot behind bars!” he and Logan departed.
