Burger King reacts to the dismissal of an employee who went viral for operating the business by herself for 12 hours.

After rumours circulated about why mother-of-three Nykia Hamilton was let off, the fast-food restaurant business responded.
After one of its employees was dismissed for keeping the business open for 12 hours on his own, Burger King responded.

Mother of three Nykia As her coworkers failed to show up for their shifts, Hamilton operated the till inside, flipped the burgers, shook the fries, wrapped the food, poured the drinks, and took orders from the drive-thru by herself.
At a Burger King in Columbia, South Carolina, patrons were lining up both inside and outside in their cars. One of them chose to record the 25-year-old’s heroic efforts to staff every station at the fast-food restaurant.

She became viral, and many thought that celebrity had two sides because of the media frenzy that followed, which led to the American beginning to do interviews with local TV stations before being fired.
“Well, she’s clearly embarrassing the company, so corporate had to fire her before she again reveals they underpay and understaff,” one user wrote on Reddit, offering a troubling theory as to why they believed Nykia was fired.

It’s terrible that she didn’t even cause it to get viral.
Finally, Burger King has addressed the rumours that Nykia was fired.
“Even for a brief time, no team member should ever be left to manage a restaurant by themselves.
The company said in a statement to UNILAD, “That’s not how we operate, and we’re disappointed that our policy, which requires more than one Team Member to work per shift, wasn’t followed.”

“The franchisees who own and run the BK restaurant have the final say over terminations.
The franchisee in this case attested that the person in question is no longer employed as a result of persistent attendance problems.
“While we can’t share more on individual personnel matters, we’re focused on making sure every restaurant, whether company or franchise-run, has the staffing and support needed to take care of our Team Members and deliver the kind of experience our Guests expect.”

On August 8, Nykia’s manager told her that she was being dismissed for arriving late, a fact that the diligent mother attributed to the challenges of parenting.
She told Watch Fox 57, “[Burger King] fired me because I’ve been late because of my kids.”
“My children come first.

You guys don’t pay for anything, including a babysitter.
Prior to being fired, Nykia was working two jobs to support her family. She has recently created a GoFundMe page, stating that she never requested the popularity she now enjoys.
I work two jobs and am a 25-year-old single mother of three.
I recently got viral for my TikTok work.
It’s okay if you want to contribute.
In the description, she said, “Thank you all for your support.”
“I didn’t anticipate how my life would turn out.
I genuinely go above and above for my children.
She has gotten almost $90,000 to support her family, which is incredible.
