Red State Requires “In God We Trust” To Be Displayed In All Public Schools
To guide its classrooms away from what some people consider to be awakened ideology and towards an environment that is more religiously oriented, another state has passed laws with the intention of altering the classroom environment. Concerns have been raised in recent times over the possibility of teachers forcing their own personal ideas on kids through the use of classroom décor and other forms of messaging, which has sparked disagreement among parents.
In the state of Mississippi, lawmakers have recently passed a law that requires the phrase “In God We Trust” to be displayed in each and every public school classroom. In preparation for the upcoming school year in the state of Mississippi, the legislation, which is referred to as House Bill 12, went into force this week. Those who are in favour of it see it as a step in the right direction towards reestablishing traditional values in public education.
It is mandated by the new law that the national motto be displayed clearly in every classroom that is part of the public school system. For the purpose of ensuring compliance, specific criteria have been created regarding the location, size, and presentation of the motto of the organisation.
It is stipulated in the legislation that merely complying with technical requirements would not be sufficient in order to close any potential gaps. Instead, it stipulates that the motto must be exhibited in a conspicuous manner, with specific instructions for its dimensions and how it should be presented. According to the law, the national motto must be shown on a poster or framed document that is at least eleven inches by fourteen inches in size. The motto itself must serve as the primary emphasis of the display, and it must be printed in a typeface that is readable.

By putting these rules into effect, Mississippi intends to ensure that the phrase “In God We Trust” continues to be prominently displayed in its public school classrooms, therefore demonstrating its dedication to traditional values and beliefs.
