I Accidentally Overheard My Sister’s Plans, Threw Her Out of My House and Told Her to Never Come Back

For as long as anyone can remember, Leah and her sister Blair have had a strained relationship. On the other hand, when Blair comes to visit, Leah believes that it is finally time for them to make their relationship better. Before Leah happens to catch a fascinating conversation that is taking place between Blair and her buddy.

The relationship between my sister and I has been through everything; we have been very close to one another, but we have also been at each other’s throats. It doesn’t matter how hard we try over the years; we just aren’t that compatible with one another. However, now that we are adults, when Blair reached out to me, I couldn’t help but assume that we would be able to heal our broken friendship.

Or so I had believed.

While we were growing up, Blair and I were always pitted against our parents. Sure, we had our disagreements, just like any other siblings would, but we were always aware that ultimately, we had only each other to rely on.
In spite of this, Blair held the peculiar conviction that everything that was mine was also hers. This small habit of hers extended to taking my boyfriend when we were both in high school as well with her.

According to what he told me, you broke up! “Leah, I am not to blame for this!” She responded in a cheeky manner while swinging her pompoms in the air during a pep rally.

I responded to her by shaking my head and saying, “You ought to have asked me.”

“We are sisters, Lee,” she made the statement. “Everything that’s yours also belongs to me!”

Even at that time, I was aware that despite the fact that I had a deep affection for Blair, trust was not something that could be readily gained with her.

We were eventually drawn in opposite directions by the course of life.

As part of her “great adventure,” Blair embarked on a journey to Mexico, where she was going to teach English at a variety of schools. I attended culinary school, fell in love, and began a family all at the same time.

Because of the distance between us, we were able to see each other once every few years. This was especially helpful for Blair, who frequently needed a reminder that she had family to return to. Despite the passage of time, I found myself looking forward to our visits more and more, convinced that we had finally matured and gotten past the competition that we had experienced as children.

Following that, Blair made the unexpected decision to pay a visit.

Come and pick me up at the airport, Sister! She sent a text message. In a moment, I will send you it!

I exclaimed with joy. Painting, which was a pleasure that Blair enjoyed when she was a youngster as well, was something that my daughter had just recently begun to like.

As a result, I went and got Blair up, and the environment was perfect. We reminisced, laughed, and sung in the car as we travelled back in time. All of my requirements were met by it.

“Can I stay with you?” At what point did we stop to get matcha, Blair inquired?

“Of course, you are able to,” I responded. Due to the fact that our parents having passed away many years before, she had no other option than to stay.

When Blair finally revealed her true nature, it had been around one week since she visited.

One of the hotels in town was where I worked as the head chef for a while. Blair’s presence at home made it easier for me to feel less terrible about putting my daughter in after-school care, despite the fact that it was a prestigious job with very long hours.

Instead, she was dropped off at her house, where Blair provided her with entertainment.

I happened to be walking by Blair’s room one day when I overheard her giving a speech over the speaker.

The question was posed by a woman, “So, do you know how you’re going to approach it?”

“Of course, Mari,” Blair’s response was. “Tomorrow, Leah will leave the house for her shift, and I’ll have Harry and the house to myself.”

Taking a quick peak into the guest room, which was now cluttered with Blair’s clothing, I noticed that she was painting her nails with her back to the door.

“How do you think she would react to you taking her husband?”

“What gives him the right to be any different? Everything is shared between Leah and I! Even her daughter has a deep affection for me. I’ll have a family that is already assembled for me! Her laughter was very loud.

My stomach dropped to the floor. I had a terrible feeling.

till she left for her daily jog, I waited, angry, till she gone.

While she was helping herself to my workout clothing, she stated, “Sis, I have to make sure that I stay in shape.”

I was aware that it was time to put an end to her visit the instant she walked out the door, humming along to the music that was playing through her earbuds.

I entered the guest room and began loading all of her possessions into the suitcases that she had taken with her. I discovered that my own clothing were included in the mix. Before continuing to prepare dinner for my family, I left everything on the porch and continued to cook.

She was moaning and stamping her feet outside when she returned, and I heard her doing both.

When she entered the kitchen, she demanded to know, “Why are all of my things outside?”

“We’re done!” As I spoke, my voice was louder than I had anticipated. You are required to depart. Right now”

She gazed at me, giving me her full attention, and for a little moment, I was under the impression that I saw a glimpse of the sister I had known in the past. However, she simply laughed it off.

She made her way to the refrigerator and helped herself to a bottle of water and an apple once she arrived.

With a “fine,” she responded. “I’ll leave.”

I said, “And you won’t come back,” and I meant it. “I don’t want you around my family.”

Blair recoiled in response to those comments. On the other hand, she went outside and sat down on the front step while she called someone. I was cooking, and I was able to observe her from the window of the kitchen.

Following a period of around ten minutes, my sister departed in the rear of a taxicab. Since then, I haven’t seen her, and despite the fact that it’s a terrible thing, I’m fine with not having her around.

The fact that she would want my life is something that I have never been able to comprehend, especially considering how nicely she would fit in as an aunt and sister-in-law. It was too heartbreaking for me to consider the possibility that Blair might take my husband and that history would repeat itself. Regardless of how effectively I challenged her, I was certain that I would never be able to trust her.

Due to this, I was unable to go on.

At this point, she is no longer a part of our life.
