After providing some background information, the woman disclosed that she had issues with her mother-in-law (MIL) for a considerable amount of time prior to the birth of her first kid in August of 2021.
Things became much more difficult with the mother-in-law after the original poster (OP) gave birth to her child. The decision that OP made to stay with her parents after she was discharged from the hospital after giving birth was something that she referred to as a “big mistake in general.” Her mother-in-law was adamant on keeping the kid with her in-laws because she believed it was unjust that they should be able to spend all of their time with the child while she was unable to do so.
Her mother-in-law had boundary issues prior to the birth of the kid, but once the baby was born, those issues grew even more severe. The older woman did not comply with any of the regulations that were established, she kissed the infant on a regular basis, and she did not allow the individual to have any time alone, even if it was to breastfeed or pump milk. OP did not accept the agreement, but she also did not disclose to her partner what has been said by his mother. Tom, on the other hand, found out the truth when she was 36 weeks pregnant, and the two of them discussed it with his mother. The more experienced mother explained to her son that she was aware that the infant was not his, stating that Ben was the child’s because OP was constantly in his presence.
