Due to the fact that she is embarrassed by her father’s wheelchair, a woman does not want her father to lead her down the aisle at her wedding. After seeing him on television a few days before the wedding, she comes to the realization that she made a mistake and decides to change her mind.

After the passing of Lisa Terrell’s mother when she was just two years old, her father, Edward, took over the responsibility of caring for her. Caroline Terrell had passed away as a result of a devastating hurricane that struck their town many years ago. The hurricane had destroyed their home and left Edward confined to a wheelchair as a result of a catastrophic injury.

Edward proceeded by saying, “It was difficult for me.” To tell you the truth, however, you can’t actually change your destiny. Consequently, I mustered up the fortitude to face the fact that I knew I could not give up on life, particularly when I was aware that I had a daughter who was now dependent on her father.

At this point, Lisa was overcome with feelings of embarrassment toward herself. After Edward’s interview, she broke down in tears, reprimanding herself for being such a terrible daughter, and then she made the decision to make amends to him.

He certainly have difficult days, but he never gave me the slightest indication that he was struggling. So, what exactly did I do? Because of the fact that he was confined to a wheelchair, I was on the verge of removing him from the list of people participating in the wedding. That is absolutely correct!

If only I had known that my father is confined to a wheelchair due to the fact that he had a back injury while attempting to save me, I would have never done it. When it comes to the man who loves me the most, I have really let him down!

Therefore, I would like to express my regret to him in front of everyone here today. She turned her back on him and murmured, “I am sorry for being the worst daughter I could have been to you, dad.” I am willing to endure your hatred for the rest of my life. I am truly sorry.
