Teen Boy Puts His Newborn Son up for Adoption, Years Later He Accidentally Meets Him

Daniel gave up his newborn at the age of 17 at the behest of his parents. A fresh pupil showed up when he was coaching a little league team years later. Daniel struggled to determine if he was his son because of how very like he appeared to his late girlfriend Emily.

While Mrs. Finkle returned to her office, the boy took a seat with a few of the other children. However, Daniel scowled at Robert at the dugout for an excessive amount of time. For some reason, the boy looked familiar, but he couldn’t quite place it. He shrugged and went back to his drill.

Robert joined the club right away since he was an immediate hit at baseball. The other lads laughed at practically everything he said, and he was very gregarious. When the parents did finally arrive, Daniel noticed his new pupil going towards a smiling mother. She knelt, gave him a hug, and got back up.

At last, it became clear. Daniel recalled his initial impression of the child’s familiarity. He bore an exact resemblance to his ex-girlfriend Emily. “But he can’t be, am I right?” he asked himself out loud. However, the more he considered it, the more likely it looked.

He got his girlfriend Emily pregnant ten years ago. Of course, at seventeen, neither of them was prepared to become parents. Their parents informed them that having an abortion was not an option. Emily carried her pregnancy to term and passed away while giving birth to their baby.

Her parents were inconsolable and would not interact with their grandchild in any way. When circumstances became too hard for Daniel, his parents pushed him to put him up for adoption. He was torn, though. He adored this boy, and Emily had died for him. How could he let go of him? But his parents insisted, and he had no money.

Daniel obeyed his parents and gave up the kid since it appeared like he had no other option. But he felt bad about him and worried about him all the time. Perhaps this is the reason he enjoyed leading the minor league team. They belonged to the same age bracket.

Robert, nevertheless, may not be his son. He would go nuts if he didn’t get those thoughts out of his head. It took only a slight similarity for him to guess it. Granted, the infant didn’t resemble Daniel at all and was blonde with blue or green eyes. He was all Emily. Robert’s eyes were a vivid emerald colour and had more male attributes.

However, after practicing every week for a month, Daniel was unable to remain silent. The boy was just as skilled at baseball and behaved exactly like he did in school. He really had to ask his mother, because he was starting to resemble Emily and even himself.

“Mrs. Marshall, may I have a quick conversation with you?” After practice, Daniel went up to Robert’s mother, who was seated on the bleachers, and asked her to come inside.

“Ah, Coach Givens. Give me Nina. The woman answered, “I’m not married,” getting to her feet and focusing entirely on him.

“My error. I know this sounds absurd and totally unrelated, but is Robert your biological son? Now that he knew Nina was single, Daniel thought, feeling a little more confident in asking.

“Whoa, hehe. That’s a question I’ve never been asked before. I look a lot like Robert, but not at all. He is not my biological child. He was taken in by adoption. He is aware already. But why would you ask? In response to Daniel’s query, Nina scowled. She didn’t appear upset, though.

Daniel said, becoming self-conscious as he looked down, “It’s just… well, I gave a child up for adoption when I was 17, and I’ve had this feeling it might be Robert.” Nina, though, caught him off guard.

“Take a seat. Give me further details. What took place? She persisted.

In addition to telling her all that transpired following Emily’s death and the birth of his child, Daniel also admitted to her that he had regretted his choice for a decade. “I loved him, even though I know I gave him up.” I promise. I’ll be overjoyed that Robert worked out so wonderfully if that turns out to be him. “I suppose I must ascertain the truth,” he concluded.

“All right, so. I sympathise with your loss. You may be correct about him; the adoption agency never disclosed any information regarding his biological parents. What will happen if a DNA test is performed? Nina posed a serious query.

Nothing at all! I promise. I wouldn’t dare meddle with your affairs. In an attempt to persuade Nina of his necessity, Daniel said, “I just want that peace that he is loved and has a family.”

Alright enough. She nodded and gave a hesitant smile. Let’s do it.

The findings verified that Robert was Daniel’s child, but he kept his word not to meddle in their lives. That year, though, Nina invited him and his baseball pals to Robert’s birthday. She then advised them to be honest with the child and find out if he was interested in dating Daniel.

“Are you sure, Nina?” Daniel enquired.

“My son made the decision. I have to be honest with him. It is up to him if he wants a connection with you. But let me caution you. You must give it your all. I can’t allow him to suffer harm,” Nina warned.

“Obviously! I swear to you!”

It took some time for her kid to open up to Daniel after Nina told him the truth. It was easy to go from him being a coach to a father figure since he already trusted him. However, as Daniel spent more time with his kid, he began to develop feelings for Nina as well, and eventually their connection developed into a love one.

When Nina and Daniel told Robert they were getting married, he was overjoyed. Now that he, like the majority of his pals, had a father, he was getting a whole family.
