Confessions of a Wedding Wrecker: The Mother’s Tale of No Regrets
I ruined my son’s wedding and don’t have an inch of regret! Am I wrong for feeling this?
One mother turned to Reddit to tell the story of how she destroyed her son’s wedding. Although she does not feel any sorrow for her actions, she is curious as to whether or not her behavior was appropriate or whether she is in the wrong.
Specifically, her son Mike has been married in the past. Tommy was born to him and his ex-wife, who had previously been married.

The moment Tommy was brought into the world, Mike abandoned him and his wife. Tommy was born with Down syndrome, and Mike left them not long after. The most important thing is that he refused to see his son and to have any kind of communication with his ex-wife. He never paid for the boy’s necessities.
Mike’s family was upset with him for abandoning his son, and when his mother found out that he was marrying another woman, she made the decision that she needed to take action to address the situation. The mother was not much concerned with whether or not Mike would start a new family; all she wanted was for him to take responsibility for Tommy.
Consequently, on the day of Mike’s wedding, just as he and his future wife were ready to say “I do,” his mother entered the chapel while carrying Tommy in her arms and revealed the truth about Mike and how he had neglected his kid.

Mike’s fiancee was listening with a level of bewilderment. As soon as she found out the truth about the man she was going to marry, it was clear that she was in a state of shock.
After a few moments, she hurled her bouquet at him, and then she and her family exited the church.
Shortly after that, Mike’s mother left, and the next day, her cousin Liam informed her that Mike had been angry and shown a variety of emotions in front of the visitors who were perplexed.

As Mike’s mother stated on her Facebook page, “Now I’m not sure if my choice to ruin the wedding was the right one.” Despite the fact that she does not feel any regret over the fact that the wedding did not take place, she stated that she did not intend to spoil her son’s wedding in the first place. She stated that her sole objective was to teach him a lesson and force him to take responsibility for Tommy and his actions.

The lady wrote, “It may seem like I went too far, but I think it was important to bring attention to how bad Mike’s neglect was.” “It may seem like I went too far,” she said.
She came to a conclusion and requested the AITA of Reddit, “I hope this interruption wakes him up so that he can change his ways and be there for Tommy as a dad.”
