Wild Mouse Goes Through “Rehab” After Eating Cannabis Plant

A mouse with obvious signs of cannabis intoxication was found among his valued plants by farmer Colin Sullivan, who grows cannabis legally in the area.

The cheeky rodent had been stealing leaves from Sullivan’s cannabis harvest for the past two days when it finally passed away from overindulgence.

The small invader was discovered stretched among a pile of leaves, apparently in a peaceful state of forgetfulness, and was caught on camera.

Sullivan took matters into his own hands and made the decision to give the mouse a second chance at recovery. After putting it in a cage,

he set out to cleanse the animal till it became sober again. The mouse was returned to its natural state and released into the wild after a period of six days.

Sullivan hilariously recounted the mouse’s journey from a cannabis-induced slumber to recovery, sharing the whole story on social media.

His posts on Facebook attracted a lot of attention; the “stoner mouse” account was the first to receive over 461 thousand shares.

Sullivan amusingly detailed the mouse’s battles with withdrawal symptoms and eventual victory over addiction while giving updates on its progress.
