Prayers are sent for “Duck Dynasty” star Uncle Si Robertson

Following a year and a half of struggling with deteriorating health, Si Robertson, who is best known for his role as Uncle Si on the hit television show Duck Dynasty, is getting ready to have lung surgery.

The 74-year-old man, who is well-known for his positive disposition, continues to maintain a positive outlook towards the approaching treatment.

He is convinced that he will soon be able to return to entertaining audiences with his signature quips.

In a number of episodes of the podcast “Duck Call Room,” Robertson has openly acknowledged that smoking is at least partially responsible for the lung health problems he has been experiencing.

His chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD), which is a condition that made his early 2021 COVID-19 diagnosis so frightening, has made his problems much more difficult to manage.

While Robertson was reflecting on his experience with COVID-19 in the “Uncle Si’s COVID-19 Story” part of the podcast, he stated that he first resisted medical intervention.

This decision caused concern among his loved ones and the others who collaborated with him on the podcast. Eventually, Robertson’s health began to improve, but the event brought to light the severity of the underlying pulmonary problems he was experiencing.

Robertson revealed in a recent episode (Episode 146) of the Duck Call Room that while one of his lungs functions normally during intake and exhalation, the other lungs struggle to adequately expel air.

This information was revealed for the first time in the programme. As a solution to this problem, Robertson is set to have surgery in order to have a device implanted that will assist the lung that is not functioning properly in ventilating the body.

Robertson wrote a statement in which he expressed his preparedness for the treatment. In the statement, he emphasised that although he has been given permission to undergo surgery, there are still preliminary processes that need to be completed.

In a hilarious manner, he informed his followers that after he had recovered, he would regale them with stories, guaranteeing that they would be accurate to the extent of “over ninety-five percent.”

Fans of Duck Dynasty and supporters of Si Robertson are anxiously anticipating his return to good health and colourful storytelling. Surgeons are scheduled to perform surgery in the near future.
