Widower Liam Neeson Turns 72: See His Messy Gray-Haired Look in a Rare Family Pic That Sparked Reactions

Today, June 7, is the rarely seen 72nd birthday of renowned actor Liam Neeson. Last year, a photo of him sporting disheveled gray hair went viral on social media, provoking criticism from users.
The “Schindler’s List” actor became a widower and raised his two sons by himself.
Liam continues to encourage his younger son Daniel, even though he doesn’t pursue his father’s career path.

Before tragedy befell their family, 72-year-old Hollywood star Liam Neeson and his late wife Natasha Richardson enjoyed a happy marriage and welcomed two kids into the world. What was supposed to be a joyous event but became the family’s final moments with the tragically deceased Natasha.

With his mother-in-law’s help, Liam raised his sons by himself when Natasha died. Despite his kids finding love, he has remained a loving and supporting father to his two boys at the age of 72 and has never remarried.

When she died at the age of 45, Natasha Neeson and Liam Neeson were raising their kids, Michael Richardson and Daniel Neeson, together. She passed away in March 2009 while on a ski vacation in Quebec, Canada, with her son Michael.

On the beginner’s slope at Mont Tremblant, the actress stumbled and struck her head. Despite not having worn a helmet at the time of her fall, Natasha declined medical assistance when an ambulance arrived because she didn’t believe anything had gone terribly wrong.

Natasha was taken back to her hotel room by her ski instructor and the ski patrol. She called Liam, who was in Toronto filming a movie, to inform him of the incident, saying, “Oh, darling, I’ve taken a tumble in the snow.”

Natasha appeared healthy at the time, but physicians later stated that she had gone through a “lucid interval,” which is a period of time when a person with a catastrophic brain injury appears normal. Even still, the brain is still bleeding, which is creating lethal pressure. It was determined that she had a “epidural hematoma.”

Another ambulance was called for three hours after the collapse, and Liam received a call from Natasha’s assistant telling him that he should visit her. He did so right away, and when he got there, he was informed she was brain dead.

To help the actor grasp her condition and the degree of her injuries, doctors showed him a brain scan. Entering his wife’s hospital room, the “Taken” star warned her that although he loved her, she would not be able to heal from this injury.

Liam disclosed that, in the event that any of them found themselves in this situation, he and Natasha had agreed to have life support removed. Liam knew he had to do it, even if it shattered his heart.

Liam claimed that although though Natasha passed away, her kidneys, heart, and lungs were donated, saving the lives of three other people. The actor claimed that although he expected his wife to find it admirable that she could assist others, he still doesn’t feel that his wife’s death is true.

Regarding the sons of Natasha and Liam, the oldest son pursued a career in acting, following in his father’s footsteps. But his younger brother made the decision to follow a different course in life, and it all began with a lesson he received at school.

Despite majoring in theater in college, the now 27-year-old chose to become an eco-friendly fashion designer rather than continue his family’s acting tradition. He had an early interest in eco-friendly fashion in the fifth grade.

He claimed to have been experiencing a panic attack during a lesson in which he had learned about global warming and had been so affected by it. He said, “It really struck me, and I’ve always been in tune with the environmental crisis.”

As a result of his innate desire to make a difference in the face of global warming, Daniel founded his business during his first year of college. His business is Pine Outfitters, a clothing line.

Pine Outfitters offers beanies, hats, and unisex long- and short-sleeve shirts. With the assistance of the National Forest Foundation, a tree is planted for every sale the business makes. He finds time for love in between his busy schedule with his company.

His girlfriend, Natalie Ackerman, works in marketing rather than the entertainment industry. When the two exchanged phone numbers, they found that their numbers were only one digit apart. The pair met during their sophomore year at Tulane.

Daniel intends to expand his company while keeping environmental safety as the primary focus at all times. Daniel replied, “I don’t want this business to be about my money.” Rather, he desires it to be about giving back to society.

Regarding his father’s thoughts on his son’s pursuits, Liam is encouraging and pleased of his son’s enterprise. Daniel explains that his father appreciates his solitude and frequently dons the caps that Daniel’s business produces.

When Daniel originally shared the picture on Instagram, other followers commented on how adorable Liam and his family looked and expressed their happiness that the family could spend some quality time together. Daniel was even commended by a fan for sharing the picture.

Another group of fans remarked on Liam’s looks, stating that in spite of his untidy hair, he looked good. A few more fans merely said that they were a lovely family and wished them well.
