Bride Betrayed: The Unbelievable Reason All My Bridesmaids Objected Except One

Amber was one of those young girls who meticulously planned every detail of their nuptials. She therefore knows exactly how she wants her day to go when Tim pops the question. However, more than Amber would have imagined imaginable is revealed when her friends ask to get together for coffee. Ellie, Amber’s acquaintance, was found to have cheated on Tim. Amber therefore makes the decision to get revenge through her ideal wedding.

I believed that the day of my wedding would be among the most memorable of my life. I was one of those girls who would fantasize of her wedding for hours on end.

I used to sit with my phone in hand and take notes while watching romantic movies, picturing my ideal wedding.

I would gather inspiration for the outfit, the enchanted setting, and even the picture-perfect cake.

I desired everything.

I had all of my plans for my dream wedding ready when Tim asked me to marry him.
One day, as we lay in bed together, I told Tim, “Our wedding is going to be the best one yet.”
He smiled and added, “Amber, I have no doubt at all.”

I assembled my closest friends from around the nation, prepared to propose to them as my bridesmaids. I couldn’t have done it without them. They were there at our sides the entire time Tim and I were in college.

We got down and worked over every detail together, and I had total faith in them.
Up until they gave me every cause for skepticism.

On the big day, Tim and I had just exchanged vows and were standing at the altar. It was really near. We were on the verge of marriage.

We were very almost a married couple.

“If anyone objects to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace,” the minister added.

As I scanned the space, I waited for someone to break the ice.
Three of my bridesmaids cried out, “We object!”

Everyone began to whisper and gasp.

After glancing at each other, the three bridesmaids turned to face my fourth, Sara.
Sara shook her head, blinking back the tears.

She said, “Are you guys crazy?”

“Sara,” my maid of honor Audrey said. “We spoke about this; you know what’s happening!”
Mel exclaimed, “Look at the cake!” “Doesn’t it remind you of anything!?”

Sara’s face became pale as she turned to face the wedding cake, as though she had just remembered something significant.

Everything went exactly as I had hoped.

“Would you like to know what’s happening?”

My bridesmaids Audrey, Grace, and Mel set up a coffee shop meeting for us to attend a week ago. They gave me gloomy looks when I met them.

“Amber,” said Audrey. “We need to talk about something.”

I thought they would discuss bachelorette parties or something like tht. I didn’t want one, but I knew they had wanted to arrange one for me.

I suggested that a themed high tea would be the ideal way for them to throw me something if they felt like it.

However, I didn’t anticipate hearing what they had to tell me. Well, not about Tim, anyhow.
Grace got huge slices of cake and coffee for all of us.

Audrey said, “We saw Ellie with Tim.” “They were walking together, holding hands and kissing.”

My throat tightened around my breath. I was momentarily unable to breathe.

“What are you talking about?” I let out a gasp.

Mel’s hands were trembling a little when she took out her phone.

“We’ve been watching them, even though we didn’t want to believe it. This is a picture.”
She handed her phone to me. And there it was.

A picture of my buddy Ellie, who was a bridesmaid, kissing my fiance while he was holding her close.

My entire world fell apart.

It transpired that Tim had been having an extramarital affair with Ellie for the last six months.

That evening, I returned to our flat and waited until Tim had dozed off on the couch. I took his phone and locked myself in the bathroom as soon as I heard his snores filling the entire living room.

The evidence was self-evident. It was indisputable. The letters, the photos, and even the films in which Ellie sporadically recorded herself acting out various tasks.

It was close-knit. There was obviously a close connection between them. More profound than any vow Tim had deceived himself with.

I was feeling angry and sad at the same time when I was reading their messages. But somewhere in the middle was the germ of an idea.

I was not going to give up on them so easily. Even though I ultimately wasn’t going to marry Tim, I still wanted to wear my wedding dress.

It was easy. I desired retribution and the realization of everyone’s true nature. However, I was heartbroken.

I had a straightforward but cunning idea. I had personalized cake toppers created using their images.

Ellie had a large tattoo on her arm that she loved to flaunt, always wore red lipstick, and brought her tiny dog, Bjorn, everywhere she went.

The cake toppers had all of these features painstakingly put to them.

That would have been obvious to the guests when they saw the cake. If not the visitors, at least Tim and Ellie would come to understand that I was telling the truth.

Let us fast-forward to the nuptials.
“Is that Ellie and Tim on the cake?” Tim’s sibling inquired.

“Oh my God, yes! How could they?” inquired a different visitor.
Ellie’s complexion paled, and she stumbled.

“Amber,” she said at the outset. “I can explain everything.”
Tim, in a panicked tone, attempted to step in. He took hold of my hand firmly, making me turn to face him.

With his eyes wide, he added, “This isn’t what you think it is.”

However, it was already too late. The harm had already occurred. The guests’ responses ranged from shock to disdain. I had spent a whole week pondering over this.

I knew going into my last wedding dress fitting that I would not be marrying the man of my dreams.

Knowing that my visage wouldn’t be on the wedding topper, I had sampled wedding cakes.
I had spent a whole week sitting with my agony.

Ellie gripped my hand and implored, “Amber, please let me explain.”
“There’s nothing to explain, Ellie,” I retorted, sounding icy and unconfident. “Everyone can see who you truly are now.”

With the guests still chatting and whispering, I looked to my bridesmaids.
I softened my voice and said, “Thank you,” to them.

My girls came over and gave me bear hugs. Together, Ellie and Tim were left to handle the fallout from their deeds as we left. Even if it wasn’t the wedding I had imagined, there was still something unique about it.

Ultimately, it had become a day of revelation and the truth.

We were going to spend the night in the hotel suite that Tim had paid for, so I took my pals there before we took out for Greece the following morning.

However, I had canceled our flights throughout the week and paid myself back, intending to travel after everything had settled.

I’m currently sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee, trying to decide what to do next. Since Tim and I had been living together, I believe that this was the most challenging aspect of the situation.

We had to attempt to sort out our lives which had become entangled.

I had no idea how I was going to pull it off. It seemed obvious to me that a new chapter was needed. I might have lost both a friend and my fiancé. However, my bond with the other bridesmaids grew stronger.

The very best pals who would always keep my heart safe.

How would you have responded in that situation?
