They have been the target of mockery and condemnation from others who are unable to see past their differences. However, they have demonstrated that genuine love necessitates accepting one another for who they are and transcends outward appearances.

Brittany Jacques, 23, had spent her whole life looking for acceptance and love. She had often experienced heartbreak and disappointment in spite of her best attempts. Jacques remembers, “At first, I was a little hesitant.” Guys have threatened to break up with me in past relationships if I don’t start dieting or make an effort to lose weight. It did have an impact on my confidence, and I did attempt to change my size by working out at one time.

They disregarded the criticism and decided they were meant to be together after listening to their emotions. On January 30, 2022, Montgomery proposed to Jacques, and they started making plans for their future together.

When Jacques and Montgomery revealed their love to the world, internet trolls attacked them with harsh remarks and condemnation. Montgomery admitted that there had been doubts about his physical strength and manliness. He claimed, “People make comments on Instagram saying that I’m not manly or big enough for her.” “I do notice people staring when we walk down the street,” the speaker continued.

The pair refused to allow the criticism break them apart in spite of the uncomfortable comments and nasty words. Rather, they committed to supporting one another and demonstrating that love is available to people of all sizes. But because Matt has had bad experiences with slender women in the past, he knew Brittany was the one for him.

He had been enamored by Jacques’ body-positive outlook and self-love when they first met, and rather of pressuring her to alter her appearance, he concentrated on making her happy. As she writes, “You are worthy, you are deserving of infinite love every single day and more,” in an Instagram post. I can tell we were meant to be together by the way you look at me and feel the same way I do about you.

Jacques and Montgomery want to serve as role models for those who could encounter similar circumstances since they are proud of their mixed-weight relationship. She remarked, “I wish mixed-weight relationships were more typical and common.”

True love is precious and shouldn’t be subjected to judgment or humiliation because of one’s appearance.
