‘Is She Pregnant?’: Fans React to Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster’s Recent Public Appearance Together

Days after publicly announcing their love, the Australian movie star shared a passionate moment with his girlfriend on a date night.

During a recent public engagement, Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were spotted exchanging affection, but fans couldn’t help but notice Foster’s appearance. Curiosity was stoked online as many conjectured about her clothing and whether she was pregnant.

On January 12, 2025, “The Music Man” co-stars were unable to keep their hands off one another on a date night at In-N-Out in Los Angeles. As they waited in the drive-thru queue, they were seen leaning in for passionate kisses during a private and playful time.

Foster and Jackman appeared to be having fun together. Foster kept things easy in an oversized shirt, sweatpants and sneakers, while the 56-year-old wore a polo shirt and casual khaki ensemble. As Jackman opened the door for Foster, the two also exchanged a couple kisses outside the vehicle.

Following Jackman and Foster’s public appearance together, fans couldn’t resist speculating. They pondered whether a baby was on the way while concentrating on the Broadway star’s attire. “Is she pregnant?” one person asked, while another added, “Is she…👶🏻?” “I’m calling it,” a fan wrote with even greater assurance. One person said, “She’s pregnant,” and another said, “She looks pregnant.”

Some appeared to be more interested in Foster’s appearance; one person asked, “What is she wearing?!” However, other fans drew attention to some similarities to Jackman’s ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, saying, “She looks like she’s older than his ex,” and “She can’t [sic] even come close to first wife in any shape or form, how boring and he totally lost his charm.”

“Who cares if they’re happy that’s all that matters…move on him [sic],” said one supporter, while another fan merely said, “He looks happy!”

Following the dissolution of his marriage to Furness, Jackman has formally moved on with Foster. Even after their divorce, he and his ex-wife are committed to supporting their children. Due to their biological inability to conceive, the two faced a challenging path as parents. Furness experienced a few miscarriages after undergoing IVF. “It was painful,” Jackman remembered.

It’s not easy,” he continued. It’s emotional because you’ve invested a lot of time and energy into it. Any parent can probably identify with this; having children is a fantastic goal, but there is a certain anxiety that comes with thinking that it won’t happen.

The ex-couples decided to adopt first, even though they had originally intended to have biological children first. “When we decided we’d had enough of IVF, we went ahead with adoption,” said Jackman. Oscar and Ava are now the children of the actor and his ex-wife.

“I don’t think of them as adopted – they’re our children,” Jackman said of his children. Deb and I both think that You could call it destiny, I guess. We believe that everything transpired as it should have. “Everyone is with the right people in the right place,” he explained. Even if it sounds romantic, we really feel it.

Foster, a single mother, is also divorced. In 2017, she and her former spouse, Ted Griffin, adopted a daughter, Emily Dale. Additionally, they struggled with infertility, with Foster having IVF and other fertility treatments. In the end, they decided to adopt.

“We had all these obstacles, but once we began the adoption process, it seemed like the obstacles were disappearing,” she recounted. I can now look back on it with clarity and perspective. Our daughter seemed to be shooting at us, and all we had to do was get out of her way. “Will you just [stand back] — I got this!” said the universe.

Foster has developed a strong relationship with the mother of her adopted kid, calling the relationship “incredibly beautiful.” She thought back on the surprising and rewarding experience of becoming a family. In addition to having a daughter, the Tony winner also welcomed a large family that is integral to her child’s life narrative.

“It’s overwhelming beauty,” she exclaimed. Love for this tiny person is overpowering. And it’s been a truly lovely addition to my life, and I’m thrilled that her narrative is now mine.”

Hugh Jackman and Foster, who both became parents through adoption, are currently dating. They were seen holding hands at a dinner date on January 6, 2025. Fans were drawn to their appearance; many thought they were quite similar and jokingly referred to them as “twins.”

In Santa Monica, California, Jackman and Foster showed up hand in hand for their dinner date. The “Logan” star chose to dress casually in white pants, a grey shirt, and a dark jacket. Foster, meanwhile, wore an olive dress with a brown trench coat.

Jackman and Foster were beaming and looking at each other as they strolled through Santa Monica, clearly in love. Their happy faces conveyed their sincere love and connection to one another.

After 27 years of marriage, Jackman and Furness separated in September 2023, which led to their current partnership. The ex-partners parted ways amicably. “Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” said the joint statement they made.

Additionally, Jackman and his ex-wife declared that their family will always come first. They requested privacy and stated that they would face the change in their life with appreciation and love.

Foster also filed for divorce from her husband, scriptwriter Griffin, at the New York County Supreme Court on October 22, 2024.

After years of running in the same Broadway circles, Jackman and Foster are now dating. Insiders claim that during the 11-month run of “The Music Man,” when they were both still married to their ex-partners, they fell in love.

“Hugh and Deb got divorced because of Sutton and Hugh’s connection. Since both of them are such wonderful and kind people, we kept it quiet even though many others on Broadway knew. Everyone was considerate of their privacy. However, there was overlap and an affair,” the person revealed.

The insider claims that the pair “are really happy now.” Despite how their relationship apparently started, fans are delighted for the couple after their recent dinner date outing. “He’s dating someone of his age, they have similar tastes, and I think they might be soulmates,” exclaimed one fan. Don’t bother them 🙌❤️❤️.

A simple “Happy for them!” was how another expressed their support. Additionally, it’s age-appropriate 👏 [sic]. One considerate fan commented, “Love instead of hate. Even after thirty years of marriage, you may still feel incredibly alone. We should be glad for him and his soul mate since they both have a strong passion for musical theatre.

Jackman’s happiness was noted by another admirer, who said, “He looks a lot happier than he has for a long time.” Some fans said, “Smiles from ear to ear,” and another observed, “Chemistry in their smiles.”

More admirers said, “He looks really happy,” highlighting Jackman’s newfound happiness. It’s okay when people break up. They appear content together. ❤️. Another merely said, “Good on him,” in support of their partnership. I don’t see anything improper as long as he is content.

The majority of admirers expressed their joy, but others were surprised by how similar they were. One fan said, “They look like brother snd [sic] sister,” while another added, “They look alike.”

One admirer acknowledged that it was a little strange, saying, “They look very happy though it’s a bit odd because they kind of look related??” One follower remarked, “They have the same nose,” pointing out even more similarities, while another joked, “They’re [sic] twins.”

The dinner date between Jackman and his girlfriend occurs after Foster concluded the highly successful Broadway revival and Los Angeles run of “Once Upon a Mattress.” Jackman was seen going to the performance at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles two nights in a row.

Carol Burnett, who portrayed Foster in the original 1959 performance, joined him once. Jackman took a picture of Burnett, who was sitting next to him, in a playful moment. Attendees were thrilled to be in the presence of two iconic characters, taking pictures and documenting the unique occasion.

Jackman has been supportive of Foster since their days on “The Music Man.” The actor shared a brief video of the two of them dancing during practice on social media to compliment her throughout their run. He expressed his admiration for her talent.

“This moment has been made possible by hundreds of people,” he wrote. However, I give special recognition to @sfosternyc. Without you, this show wouldn’t exist. You’re a friend and a remarkable talent. Your happiness makes @MusicManBway a vibrant enterprise. “Let’s get this done!”

In an interview, Jackman and Foster acknowledged that, because of their stellar reputations, they were both afraid to participate in “The Music Man” rehearsals together. But Foster admitted that she was especially nervous and thought she would be fired. Their names were on a big billboard, and it would be too costly to change hers, she remarked amusingly.`

Foster was excited to have collaborated with Jackman despite her initial apprehensions, and their connection has since expanded beyond their business relationship.
