Heartbreaking final words of American Eagle pilot Jonathan Campos before deadly D.C. crash
The terrible final words spoken by his nephew before he passed away along with 66 other people were disclosed by the uncle of one of the pilots who was murdered in the fatal jet crash that occurred in Washington, District of Columbia, on Wednesday night.

Prior to boarding the fateful American Airlines Flight AA55342, Jonathan Campos shared with his family that he was looking forward to a cruise that they were scheduled to take on the following week. This was the final thing that he communicated to his family before he boarded the flight.
His jet was struck by a Black Hawk helicopter belonging to the United States military as it attempted to land at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, District of Columbia, on Wednesday evening at approximately 8:48 p.m., resulting in his death. His death occurred just a few of hours later.

On the aircraft, which was traveling from Wichita, Kansas, to the Washington airport, Campos was one of the four crew members who tragically lost their lives. The airplane was carrying sixty passengers. There were also three United States Army personnel who were killed while they were aboard the Sikorsky helicopter.
The 34-year-old Campos was “living his dream” of becoming a pilot, according to John Lane, Campos’ uncle. Lane also mentioned that Campos enjoyed playing with toy planes when he was a boy. “He was such a good kid,”
“As he was getting on the plane, I had a conversation with him. We talked for a total of ten minutes. It’s hard for me to belive. His uncle said that he sounded like he was very joyful. A cruise aboard the Icon of the Seas, which was the cruise ship, was something that he was looking forward to going on the next week.

During the vacation, ten members of his family were going to travel to Florida in order to accompany him. There was supposed to be a huge party on the occasion.
Lane went on to say that the entire family, particularly Campos’ mother, is “just sick right up right now.” It has been stated that his mother flew to Washington in order to make plans for her son’s memorial service.
In addition, it was said that Campos thoroughly enjoyed playing basketball and that he resided in Orlando with his girlfriend.
He attended flight school a little more than ten years ago and grew up in a modest apartment on Coney Island, which is located in the borough of Brooklyn, New York. After attending Epic flying Academy in New Smyrma Beach, Florida, he received his flying instructor certification and graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in New Jersey. Epic Flight Academy is located in New Smyrma Beach, Florida.

The crew at Embry-Riddle has expressed their “deeply saddened” response to the news of Campos’ loss, according to a statement that was provided by the entertainment company. “Our thoughts are with his family and the families and loved ones of all impacted by this tragic accident,” according to the official statement.
The catastrophe also claimed the lives of flight attendants Ian Epstein and Danasia Elder, as well as First Officer Samuel Lilley, who was 29 years old and was engaged to be married in the autumn. Lilley was also on track to be promoted to captain within a few months. They were all killed in the accident.
A group of young figure skaters, a couple of Chinese nationals, and a well-known Russian figure skating couple were among the passengers on board the flight. Additionally, there were students from colleges and universities, as well as a civil rights attorney from Kansas who was going to celebrate her birthday.

According to reports, rescue workers are continuing their search for victims in the Potomac River following the fatal incident. As of this moment, they have reportedly extracted approximately forty bodies from the water. It was a total of 67 people who gave their lives.
