Barron Trump, the youngest child of President Donald Trump, was spotted on the campus of New York University on February 4, 2025. He hadn’t been seen since his father’s inauguration. Despite his seemingly typical behaviour, netizens were mostly interested on his appearance, with some passing severe criticism.
Barron was wearing a cream-coloured jumper over a white polo shirt when he was out in New York. In addition, he carried a bag and wore black trousers and black-and-white Adidas trainers. Instagram users were quick to comment on the teen, with one person making fun of him by saying, “He’s got baby hands awwww.”
Another person responded to that remarks by saying, “Just like daddy.” A third person said, “He has tiny hands too☝️,” while another user added, “[He’s] got his daddy’s hands.” Many users shared this sentiment.
Someone else added, “He’s got small hands like his dad,” while another netizen chuckled and said, “Little hands 😂.” One person made the quip, “Look at those lady hands lol. [sic]” after viewing Barron’s photos on X, the former name for Twitter.

Barron was taken out of Trump Tower by a security detail on his first day back on college. The building, rather than the White House, is where he and his mother, First Lady Melania Trump, live most of the time.
The 18-year-old, who attends the Stern School of Business, arrived in Greenwich Village in a convoy of five SUVs. As Barron entered the campus, the Secret Service and the New York Police Department (NYPD) kept an eye on the area.
Melania stated in a previous interview that being a wife, mother, and first lady are her top priorities. Now that her son is in college, she thinks he would come see her and bring his buddies. Donald’s wife thinks that because of their close relationship and excellent communication, her son will communicate his desires with her. Because of his differences, Melania acknowledged before to becoming first lady that she didn’t think Barron would have a normal college experience.
