Musk Seeks ‘Wave of Impeachments’ For Federal Judges
As a result of recent court judgments that have hampered initiatives undertaken by the Trump administration, Elon Musk, who is the chairman of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has called for a “wave of judicial impeachments.

” Elon Musk responded to a decision reached by United States District Judge John Bates by posting a series of remarks on his social media network, which is known as X.

In a related case, Musk urged for the impeachment of a different federal judge who had temporarily restricted DOGE’s access to data held by the Treasury Department.
A preliminary injunction was issued by United States District Judge Paul Engelmayer, which prevents the Department of the Treasury from accessing Treasury databases that contain the personal financial information of millions of consumers in the United States.
A further requirement of the ruling was that DOGE must destroy any documents of this kind that it had obtained after January 20.
