JD Vance Responds After Backlash Over Controversial UK Comments
Trump’s Vice President JD Vance breaks silence after being accused of brutally ‘mocking’ UK in bizarre rant
According to JD, whatever nation were you referring to at that time?
After receiving severe criticism for his remarks regarding a potential peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, in which he referred to “a random country that hasn’t fought a war in thirty years,” JD Vance has now made his voice heard.

The Vice President of the United States was criticized for his remarks to Fox News on the possibility of providing security assurances for Ukraine. In his remarks, which were made yesterday (March 3), he stated that if the country that was invaded wants to be safe from future Russian aggression, it should provide the United States with economic reasons to care.
“If you want real security guarantees, if you want to actually ensure that Vladimir Putin does not invade Ukraine again, the very best security guarantee is to give Americans economic upside in the future of Ukraine,” he went on to say. “The president is aware of this fact.”
When compared to 20,000 troops from some random country that hasn’t been involved in a war in thirty or forty years, that is a significantly stronger security guarantee.
“The security guarantee and also the economic guarantee for Ukraine is to rebuild the country and ensure that America has a long-term interest.”
As a result of the fact that both the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Sir Keir Starmer, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, have committed to sending thousands of peacekeeping troops to Ukraine as part of their security guarantees for the country,

it is reasonable to assume that when JD Vance referred to “some random country that hasn’t fought a war in 30 or 40 years,” he was referring to either the United Kingdom or France.
Vance, on the other hand, has responded to the comments that were made yesterday and stated on Twitter that it was “absurdly dishonest” to assume that his remarks about a country that would send peacekeeping soldiers pertained to either of the two countries that stated that they would send peacekeeping troops.
“This is completely and utterly dishonest,” he wrote.
“In the clip, I don’t even name the United Kingdom or France, despite the fact that both of these countries have fought heroically alongside the United States throughout the past twenty years and beyond.
“But let’s be direct: there are many countries who are volunteering (privately or publicly) support who have neither the battlefield experience nor the military equipment to do anything meaningful.”

This makes it difficult to determine which country JD Vance was talking to, and it is also difficult to understand the argument he was attempting to make if it is not directed at a specific country.
The work that was done by British troops, who frequently fought alongside the United States, was praised by a spokeswoman for Starmer. The spokesperson added, “Our focus, once again, is on how we protect our national interests and global security by progressing the discussions to secure a lasting peace for Ukraine.”
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, has stated that he is still “ready to sign” a contract that would provide the United States of America authorization to exploit valuable natural resources in Ukraine.

As a result of the war, our cities and towns are being destroyed, and the Ukrainian people are the ones who want real peace the most.
“Our people are being lost. Stopping the war and ensuring safety are both things that we need to do.
As of today, March 4, the United States of America has temporarily halted its military assistance to Ukraine. The United States stated that the assistance provided to Ukraine in response to Russian aggression will be “reviewed” in order to “ensure that it is contributing to a solution.”
Russia has expressed its approval of the United States’ decision to halt help for Ukraine. Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s press secretary, stated to the BBC that “if the United States stops, or pauses these supplies, this will probably be the best contribution to the cause of peace.”

During the night, Russian forces continued their assaults on Ukraine by sending 99 drones to target Odesa, Sumy, and Donetsk. These drones caused damage to power infrastructure as well as a medical center designated for children.
