TikTok Creator Bailey Hutchins Passes Away After Courageous Cancer Fight
TikTok star Bailey Hutchins dies from cancer after brave battle
Bailey Hutchins, 26, shared her final TikTok post from her hospital bed with a persistent sense of optimism just days before she lost her fight with colon cancer.
When the social media influencer passed away on February 7, the online community lamented her passing, “crying for a stranger” they had never met. Her path had inspired millions of people for two years.
In a distressing Instagram post on January 31, 2023, Caden Hutchins revealed some startling information about his 24-year-old ex-girlfriend, Bailey Hutchins.
He notes that following emergency surgery, a portion of Bailey’s colon was removed and “found to be cancerous,” adding that “the past week has been a rollercoaster, Baileys’ health has declined to a point where we had no other option but to bring her into the ER.”
Our next course of action is to kick cancer in the ass since Bailey has been diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. With perseverance, optimism, and resolve, I’m confident Bailey will overcome this. She is a youthful, robust, healthy individual who will confront cancer head-on and put an end to it.

Resilience Bailey, a well-known TikTok maker and licensed nurse, dedicated the next two years of her life to transforming personal adversity into a potent message of awareness and hope.
She decided to use social media to promote early cancer screenings, provide open updates about her treatment, and inspire her followers to live resilient and thankful lives rather than running away in fear.
She informed her fans about the signs of colon cancer, the value of early detection, and the realities of treatment through moving videos. No matter how difficult things got, she always found a way to dance, smile, or show gratitude by striking a balance between her unwavering spirit and her honest candor.
“I’m still here.”
Despite being diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer at first, the cancer advanced to Stage 4 with peritoneal metastasis, which indicates that it had reached the lining of her abdominal cavity. Bailey refused to let the illness define her attitude and fought with all of her strength in spite of the dire prognosis.
She kept her fans informed as her health deteriorated in early 2025, right up until her last post on January 19, in which she included a TikTok video from her hospital bed.
“Don’t worry about my hair; I look insane at the moment. We’re back with the crazy hair,” she starts. “But yeah, I’m not going to share any updates on what’s actually going on with me, I just can’t, I just cannot. But I’m here. And I’m alive,” she reassured her concerned fans.

In the days that followed, Caden – who made Bailey his wife in November 2023 – took over her account to keep supporters informed, sharing on January 26 that they were taking things “day by day” and expressing Bailey’s deep gratitude for everyone who had supported her along the way.
‘Her story will live on’
On February 8, Bailey’s husband announced on social media that his wife, 26, died the night before.
“Last night our Bailey B passed on to Heaven. Although we selfishly wanted her here forever we are at peace knowing that she no longer has to endure any pain or suffering… Bailey battled so hard these past 2 years,” Caden captions the TikTok clip that’s been viewed 10 million times.
The post tragic post is paired to Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again,” that showcases the stunning couple on their wedding day. He says, “Her spirit is as radiant as the sun. Bailey is such a light, and we plan on continuing to let it shine on. She was and always will be such a spark to so many, her story will go on.”
‘Beautiful spirit’
Since the announcement of her demise, tributes have flooded social media, remembering the great influence Bailey made in such a short time.
“There are no words to describe how deeply sad I am for your loss. In each film, Bailey’s brightness shone brightly. I mourn her loss even though I didn’t know her. One fan says, “She will be sorely missed.
The way my heart simply fell… I sincerely apologize. Even though I’m only a stranger online, her lovely soul drew me in. A second writes, “I’m sending you love during this time.”

Bailey was the object of my greatest prayer and hope for a miracle. One adds, “Crying for a stranger I just met a moment ago,” while another says, “I’m so sorry for your loss.”
“Angel on Earth”
Other internet users, however, gave first-hand accounts of how Bailey Hutchins influenced their own paths.
“Over the past year, I’ve been dealing with mental health issues, spending most of my days in bed and observing life pass by.” One TikToker adds, “Bailey, thank you for sharing your story. I swear to never take life for granted again.”
As I’ve been supporting my husband during his battle with colorectal cancer, Bailey helped me maintain my faith, so I’m heartbroken to see this. “We’re not giving up,” says another internet user.
“I am a 47-year-old colon cancer survivor,” shares another person. A year ago, I began following Bailey. She never realized the number of individuals she helped with her path and strength. She was an angel on earth.
2025 Valentine’s Day
His first Valentine’s Day celebration without Bailey after their 2013 romance
On Instagram, Caden posted a rotating collection of images that depicted the couple at different points of their relationship, which began in 2013. The captions on the photos range from “I loved you in 2013” to “I loved you in 2025.”
More than just a TikTok influencer, Bailey Hutchins was a ray of hope, a representation of fortitude, and a reminder that we can make the decision to live a life filled with love and meaning even in the most difficult circumstances. Bailey, may you rest in peace. You will always be bright.
