Our children are our most precious possession, and we will stop at nothing to ensure that they are protected.
Because of this, the story of Ava Ann Marie Tabor, who was only a child, is extremely upsetting. Two years old, she was a happy and loving child, but her life was ripped from her in the most horrifying way.
As of right now, a male who is 19 years old has been taken into custody after allegedly confessing to hitting her.
Being Ava’s babysitter for a short time The bright and happy two-year-old Ava Ann Marie Tabor was born on November 28, 2022 in Texarkana, Texas. She was a happy and bright personality.

It was her passion to dance, to assist in the kitchen, and to light every room with her dazzling smile and her eyes that were as blue as the sky.
Her mother, Kylie Marie Perez, and her father, Levi Landon James Tabor, cherished her more than anything else in the world.

The family had established their life in De Queen, Arkansas, but at the beginning of March, their entire world was turned upside down.
On that particular day, Wesley Davis, who was 19 years old at the time, was watching Ava, but something went horribly wrong.
Davis was reportedly keeping an eye on her at a residence in Lockesburg, Arkansas, when he made the decision to call for medical assistance shortly after she went unresponsive, as stated by Sevier County Sheriff Robert Gentry.
After he allegedly admitted to beating Ava, he was hauled into custody at a later time.
Your mother’s heartfelt farewell
Although Ava was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, the medical staff did everything in their power to preserve her life; nonetheless, it was not possible to save her young life.
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Ava exhaled her last breath, leaving behind a family and community that was overcome with grief to mourn her passing.
The very last time we were able to hold our child… Following a period of two years during which I have been responsible for putting you to bed, making your bottles, playing with you, waking you up, saying goodbye to you, and listening to your small concerts while driving…
It’s not going to happen again in my lifetime. There will be no more kisses from Ava, no more shouts of “momma c’mon,” and no more baby loves…
You stole this privilege away from me, WESLEY DAVIS. YOU HAVE GOTTEN MY WORLD. YOU MADE ME LOSE EVERYTHING I HAD WORKED FOR. I will not give up until you receive the reward that you are due. AVA ANN MARIE TABOR, Know that I adore you.

ALWAYS AND FOREVER, YOU WILL BE MOMMY’S BABY. I will never forget you,!” On the Facebook page that she maintains, Kylie Perez, Ava’s mother, wrote.
In the beginning, Wesley Davis was charged with first-degree domestic battery; however, after Ava passed away on March 4, the case was upgraded to first-degree murder.

Judge Bryan Chesshir imposed a no-contact order on Thursday, banning Davis from communicating with the victim’s family. Davis’s bond was set at one million dollars, and the judge also issued the order.
At one point, Kylie Perez, Ava’s mother, referred to her daughter as a shining beacon of light.
“This is not something that my child deserved. He [Davis] is deserving of every single negative thing that is going to happen to him. Moreover, I will not give up until he understands it.
Numerous threats of death have been made.
Sheriff Robert Gentry acknowledged the profound impact that this case has had on the community, which is experiencing a range of emotions as a result of the untimely death of Ava.
He stated that there have been threats of death, as well as threats of bodily injury and violence to Mr. Davis. “There have been threats of death,” he claimed.

According to statements made by Sevier County Sheriff Robert Gentry to KSLA, “She did not deserve what happened to her, and we are going to do everything in our power to ensure that the judicial system takes accountability for the person who caused her harm.”
