Paul Skinner, who was 58 years old at the time, was out for a leisurely bike ride with a few of his pals when they found themselves on a country road that was less frequented and significantly quieter.

Due to the fact that it was surrounded by open fields and forests, it appeared to be a tranquil respite from the cacophony found in regular life.

After that, however, they were confronted with something that converted the otherwise peaceful day into a time of shock and sympathy.
