A source further stated, “Redmond suffers from bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and antisocial personality disorder, and in his mind, his father is the devil.”
By 2009, Ryan was only communicating with Redmond, one of his children. That didn’t seem to keep him out of trouble, though.
Redmond was arrested once more in May 2018 on suspicion of robbing a Los Angeles convenience shop.
Armed with a knife, he allegedly stormed into the business near Santa Monica and ordered the clerk to get cash from the register.
He ran away after being given an undisclosed sum of money, but he was caught close by. He was found to have a knife that fit the description.
According to eyewitness accounts, the act was abrupt and shocking, and it showed just how far he had fallen.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged him with six counts after the arrest: possession of a smoking device, possession of an injection/ingestion device,
assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree robbery, and two counts of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, which are controlled substances.
One particular charge in the felony complaint was that “the defendant personally used a deadly and dangerous weapon, a knife, during the commission of the robbery.
” Prosecutors wanted $125,000 in bail after initially setting it at $50,000. Later that day, Redmond was to be arraigned.
