Wedding Woes: The Remote-Controlled Heartbreak at the Altar

Man Finds Out about His Bride’s Betrayal – He Goes to the Altar with a Remote Control in His Hands

Daphne is now attending her brother’s wedding. She owes Denise something as a bridesmaid. Daphne is forced to choose her brother, even if Liam’s actions embarrassed Denise, as he shockingly shows them all a tape that contains Denise’s darkest secrets.

Excitement was in the air, building expectation among everybody as my brother’s wedding drew near. Due to my brother’s reputation as a master prankster, we were all on edge when he made subtle allusions to a big surprise.

Liam was that person, in my opinion, who was merely fabricating the drama for effect.

Denise, Liam’s fiancée, asked me to be a bridesmaid, which didn’t surprise me because they had been together for so long.

“Please, Daphne,” she said, giving me a box full of delicacies in exchange. “I need you to be there with me on our big day—you’re not just Liam’s little sister, but mine, too.”

I naturally agreed to that. In fact, Denise organised my 21st birthday celebration rather than my assumed pals, thus she truly did make me feel like a sister.

Thus, I believe that Denise talked to me about their wedding more than Liam did during the planning process.

“With Liam, I’m just wasting my time,” she remarked. “You can take our notes. Additionally, we can taste the wedding cake.”

However, Liam was actually busy creating a stunning wedding video, even though it appeared like he was only doing the absolute minimum for the occasion.

He stated, “I’m going to have it played just before we do our vows,” when I went to see him.

He gave me a folder on his laptop, ready to be used to construct the movie, containing all of the images and films that he and Denise had taken.

“Do you think Liam has cold feet?” When did we go wedding shopping, Denise inquired?

“No,” I candidly answered. “He’s planning something for you, that’s taking all his time at the moment.”

With excitement, she exclaimed, “What?”

I swore to keep things secret. “Now, go and try on dresses!”

I arrived early at the hotel suite on the day of the wedding. Before Denise and the other bridesmaids and I got ready, I wanted to see Liam.

While preparing, he sipped on a glass of champagne and joked, “You have no idea what’s coming.”

“Oh my God,” I exclaimed. “I can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned.”

Everything went according to Denise’s wishes, and the ceremony was wonderful.

everything about the setting, including the music, flowers, and fragrant candles. Everything was wonderful.

My brother asked the priest to hold off when it was time to exchange vows.

“I have something to show you all,” he replied. “This is Denise and my love story from the beginning to right now.”

Taking a remote control out of his pocket, he and his groomsmen wheeled a TV screen to the centre of the altar, right in front of Liam and Denise.

After saying, “Watch this,” he moved back to join his groomsmen. After that, he hit play.

With scenes from their first kiss, trips taken together, cosy nights in, dinners prepared together, and more, their love story came to life on screen.

All of the guests were spellbound by the heartfelt sequence.

However, the biggest surprise was yet to come.

After the film concluded, the priest returned to his place, prepared to take up where he left off with the ritual. He demanded that Liam and Denise return to their places as well.

If anyone opposed, he asked solemnly.

Liam let go of Denise’s hand and moved back down the aisle before anyone could realise what was going on.

“It is,” he said.

“What?” Denise gave a loud hiss. “Liam, this isn’t the time for one of your pranks.”

He declared, “This isn’t a joke.”

As music started to play, he picked up the remote control once more and pushed a button. Tension was in the air.

at sharp contrast, this new film featured his bride at their shared residence, but Denise wasn’t by herself.

Instead, she was shown in a compromising situation with another man while sporting only her pants.

With everyone’s attention fixed on the television, the room grew silent, and then slowly turned to see how she would respond to my brother’s revelation.

With her eyes wide with fear and her face ghostly pale, Denise slowly turned to face her guests.

She whispered, more to herself than to anybody else, “This can’t be happening.”

Then, the man in the video—who was sat in the rear of the room and wearing a suit—began to swear loudly.

“This is the reason I will not be marrying Denise today,” Liam murmured, disturbing the quiet with a steady yet passionate tone.

“I couldn’t let us all be here, witnessing what was supposed to be love, without the truth being known.”

The joyous ambiance vanished into a dense, unpleasant tension when the ceremony came to an abrupt stop.

Denise looked about, as though trying to find a way out or an ally, and staggered a little. She removed her shoes and picked them up with a kick.

It’s not what it appears to be, she remarked. Please, Liam, don’t be here. Outside, let’s discuss this.

We’d spent so much time together, and I wanted to be able to look at Denise and feel bad for her. However, the video contained the evidence. Despite our closeness, she was just another unfaithful person.

Someone who had injured my brother.

She begged Liam once more, raising her voice. She broke down in tears.

Still, the harm was done. My brother never took his eyes off the woman he was meant to wed.

His voice was a deep growl as he said, “How long?”

She forced herself to say, “Not long,” her poise faltering. “I’m so sorry, you were never supposed to know about it.”

However, in our own house? Truly, Denise?” My brother shot back, clearly hurting everyone who was seeing.

“You introduced him to our house,” he murmured.

The assembly muttered, with some attendees nodding their heads while others fixated on the enacting spectacle.

The clergyman took a step away. I questioned whether he was considering seeing Liam and Denise for couples counselling, as they had initially declined when they made the reservation with the priest.

Leaving his wedding and all of the guests he and Denise had selected, Liam left first.

Liam did not acknowledge Denise’s presence as she ran out after him, shouting out to him. Behind her ran her mother.

I later searched the hotel for my brother by strolling about. I discovered him eating a dish of olives at the bar, drinking away his emotions.

He asked, “Did you know?”

“No, of course not,” I blurted out hurriedly.

Liam had accidentally looked through Denise’s pictures and videos on his laptop while sorting through his own.

“I just wanted to see if there was anything else that I could add to the video,” he grumbled.

I settled in next to my brother and ordered myself a drink; based on our surroundings, it appeared that we would be there for some time.

“I reviewed the initial folder,” he acknowledged. “And it was amazing because she had so many pictures that I had never seen before. However, Denise’s film with that man was in the following folder. He stated, “Daphne, it wasn’t even a locked folder.”

Liam drank down his glass and we both were silent for a time.

“Do you think I was wrong to expose her?” he inquired.

“No,” I said truthfully. However, it might have been better if you had spoken with her alone. How this could destroy her is unknown. or what she intends to do next.”

I took a seat back and helped myself to the pretzel bowl that the barman had set out for us.

Liam stated, “I don’t plan to check up on her.” “I don’t care.”

Getting Liam to forgive Denise was not something I intended to do. After what she’d done, there was no use in pleading with him for forgiveness—one thing Liam had always known for sure. The biggest turnoff in a relationship was cheating.

He said, “Come on in.” “Let’s head over to the wedding cake. That also cannot be thrown away.”

My brother and I headed to the dining room where the wedding celebration was being held.

Even though I really wanted to see how Denise was doing, I knew that Liam needed me to support him.

In your situation, how would you have responded?
