1000-Lb Sisters’ Star Tammy Slaton Stuns Fans with Her Incredible Weight Loss Transformation

That’s Mind-Blowing’: ‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Star Tammy Slaton Shows off Her New Figure After Losing More Weight

The “1000-Lb Sisters” star’s brother, Chris Combs, shared in the occasion, encouraging her to continue losing weight.

Tammy Slaton is pleased with her progress and has reached a significant turning point in her physical transformation journey.

The reality show “1000-Lb Sisters,” hosted by TLC, posted a video on Instagram showing Slaton weighing herself and discovering a weight she hadn’t seen in years: 281.2 lbs. “I weighed in at 303 the last time I was at Dr. Smith’s,” Slaton recounted.

Chris Comb, her shocked brother, said, “Congratulations, that’s good!” Slaton revealed in a confessional, “Chris claimed to weigh 284. I’m a little lighter than Chris now. That’s incredible. I believe I was in the fourth or fifth grade the last time I weighed 281. The ‘big’ baby sister is no longer me; I’m the baby sister.

“How am I lighter than you?” Slaton asked her brother at one point. In response, Combs said, “You’re supposed to be lighter than me.” “Cause I’m short?” was Slaton’s amusing reply.

Notwithstanding the lighthearted sibling teasing, Combs expressed his happiness and satisfaction in Slaton’s accomplishment and how much it meant to him. “Did I ever imagine that she would be smaller than me?” he wrote. I never considered her to be smaller than me, so the answer is probably no. She’s always been large and Tammy.

Although Tammy Slaton has made great strides in her weight loss journey, a different Instagram video showed that she has momentarily halted her work toward the next phase, a skin removal procedure.

Slaton is seen in the video talking with Dr. Brad Turner, her plastic surgeon, who clarifies that she is not yet ready for the operation. The news clearly impacted Slaton, who dropped her head in disappointment.

Her remark reflected her gloomy attitude when asked if she planned to continue with more examinations. The reality star responded, “I just don’t wanna get undressed,” despite her desire to address the extra flesh as the next stage in her path.

Slaton has made remarkable strides, but she is still just 13 months after bariatric surgery, Dr. Turner explained. As a result, she needs more time to get to her ideal weight before having skin removal surgery.

“I’m definitely not telling you, ‘No.’ I’m just telling you, ‘Not tomorrow,'” Slaton was told by Dr. Turner. She would be in the best position to have the surgery if she continued to lose weight steadily for another six months to a year, he added.

Slaton has lost a substantial amount of weight from her maximum reported weight of 725 pounds, despite numerous obstacles in her weight loss path. A pivotal moment came when she underwent bariatric surgery in July 2022, which enabled her to reach her current weight.

Looking back on her development, Slaton revealed that even minor triumphs have seemed significant to her. Her life has changed significantly since she was able to move without assistance, without a wheelchair or walker, and without the need for oxygen support, even when she was asleep.

Then it was being able to fit in a normal car, the front seat, and then the belt buckle, and not needing an extender anymore,” Slaton further disclosed. Therefore, to me, anything that appears insignificant to others is enormous.

Slaton made a significant change in 2023 when she accepted responsibility for her weight issues. “It’s my fault that I’m this size,” she admitted. Although I know I can change, I allowed it to spiral out of control. I must.

Her physicians and family are now pleased with her development. This pride was conveyed by Dr. Eric Smith, the medical director of the Kentucky Bariatric Institute, who has helped Slaton lose weight.

Although he is glad of her weight-related accomplishments, Dr. Smith said he is more proud of the life-altering objectives she is achieving, like leading a happier and healthier life.
