Laela Wilding
Laela was born in 1971 and is the daughter of Johanna Lykke-Dahn and Michael Wilding Jr., Elizabeth’s oldest son. She has established herself in Portland, Oregon, where she teaches yoga and works as a graphic designer.
Elizabeth’s Hollywood legacy is what many remember her for, but Laela wants people to see her for more.
In one interview, she stated, “She was that person who saw injustice, and started talking about it and never stopped talking about it,” adding that her significance now may not match the way most people perceive her.
Wilding, Naomi
Naomi, Elizabeth’s second grandchild, was born in 1976, five years after her sister. She and her spouse, Anthony Gran, operate the Wilding Cran Gallery in Los Angeles. As an ambassador, she also devotes time to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
Naomi described her grandmother as warm and lively, a “delicious grandma” who embraced them with open arms. She knew a very intimate version of her grandmother.

Elizabeth, the daughter of Steve Carson and Maria Burton, grew up in New York City. Named after her grandmother, she joined the Administration for Children’s Services shortly after earning a magna cum laude degree from New York University in 2004.
She described how the family matriarch styled her hair and makeup for both her junior and senior proms in a 2016 interview. Elizabeth cited a pair of chandelier earrings set with pearls, diamonds, and rose quartz when asked about her favorite keepsake.
Her granddaughter said she would never forget the time the renowned actress made she wear them to a celebration on New Year’s Eve. Tivey Rhys
Rhys, the second son of Liza Todd and Hap Tivey, attended New York University to earn a degree in jazz performance. He is a producer, trumpet player, and musician who has also worked as a lyricist and voice teacher.

McKeown, Richard
Elizabeth adopted Maria Burton, the mother of Richard, close to the end of her marriage to Eddie Fisher. Richard was later born to Maria and her ex-husband, Tom McKeown. Tivey Quinn
Quinn, a practicing artist and former film and television producer, was born in 1986 to Liza Todd and artist Hap Tivey. He has been a co-trustee of the Elizabeth Taylor Trust since 2016.
He also serves as an Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation officer in this capacity. Quinn coordinates multi-stakeholder engagement strategies, supervises brand and content development partnerships, and contributes significantly to the preservation of the heritage through strategic business choices in his capacity as an estate trustee.
In addition, he contributes academic and executive expertise to his advising work, which aids in evaluating complicated issues in a variety of industries and guiding long-term strategy. Quinn has given personal recollections that show a more lighthearted side of Elizabeth in addition to his professional position.
At the Philanthropy Summit hosted by Town & Country, he disclosed, “A lot of people do not know this, but Grandma could be really raunchy.” He had happy memories of watching “Law & Order,” sharing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and climbing into bed with her in his jammies.

Despite the ongoing battle, he continued, he thinks she would be pleased to witness the foundation’s continued work.
